Premium Collapsible Colander, Strainer, Red, Silicone 1" Flat Space Saver, Hot or Cold Food

I had a similar collapsible silicon strainer that gave out after many years of service. Took some time to find a replacement, but I did! Note that there are no drain holes on the sides of the colander, just the bottom. That's the way the old one was, too. Works very nicely for draining veg, pasta. Love that it collapses for storage.

It's a nice colander, but the holes are too big to do things like wash rice

These work well and are easy to clean. I would prefer a larger size next time though. Overall, it is a good product.

I got it to replace a silicone strainer whose handle had broken. Unlike that one, this new one was silicone only on the sides (and very stiff silicone at that)with a solid plastic disc at the bottom. The "floppy " quality of my former strainer (which t liked) is totally absent in this one. Yes, it flattens--reluctantly-- for storage, but I miss the old one, even with a broken handle.

Seems like a good idea, but it was too small and very flimsy.

I love this collapsible strainer. It takes up very little room and I can hang it on a hook on the inside of my cabinet door. Fits perfectly in both smaller pots and larger pots due to the handle. Easy to handle and very light. Only time will tell how this product stands up to daily use. My last one lasted several years but it finally ripped in the bottom...my granddaughter now plays with the old one in the bath tub.

Got this for camping and it was perfect! BUT we use it on a regular basis at home too, helps to make it for easy storage in our cupboard! We are just a family of 2 so it works well for us and washes up nicely in the top rack of the dishwasher. This one is not very big so a bigger family hence may need a bigger one. But if you are a single person or a couple, this is great!

This is awesome! I've used it for pasta, veggies, grapes; it's sturdy, but the best part is how little room it takes up. It's collapsable, so it easily fits in a kitchen drawer - it flattens right out. And the price is right! You can't lose if you buy this strainer.
