William Morris Pimpernel Butter Dish - Dark Green With Gold Effect Rim

I was looking for a respectable but not budget-breaking butter dish for a lunch party (to replace my serviceable but boring stainless steel one) and was delighted when this arrived.It's very robust, but also attractive enough to use as a pot on your dressing table.If I have a tiny quibble with it, it's that it's VERY big ... much bigger than I was expecting ... and a standard 250g (1/2lb) of butter looks a tiny bit lost in it: but I forgive it, simply because it's such a lovely thing.Recommended.

this butter dish looks very expensive and is my wife show piece in the kitchen,the pattern on the dish is excellent and was very surprised at the quality of it, wife is very pleased

I was looking for a butter dish where it has a Handle so that the lid will not slip if your hands are wet or greasy. This one is very pretty, nice and sturdy. It arrived next day after ordering, very well packaged. It can go into the dishwasher and microwave. Pretty addition on my new kitchen worktop. I’m very happy with it.

As many other seller reviews - the colour is not as advertised.However, I purchased with that knowledge as I like both the dark green and the more pastel blue (which is the one I received).

I am really pleased with this butter dish. It holds a pound of butter with room to spare.It looks a lot more expensive than it was.Mine arrived yesterday exactly as the picture... colouring was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Fin och gedigen smörlåda . Könns lyxig att ta fram. Inget gegg med foliepapper.Bankar man ned en smörkloss med knytnäven får den plats men lockets inre kant tar i, så där får man karva loss några matskedar om man vill att locket ska kunna slutas helt.Rekommenderar ändå!

Pretty design, holds an entire brick of butter!Only con, the lid doesn’t close all the way if you put the whole brick of butter in the holder.

Better than using just for butter! Have it on the marble window large above my sink for decor and color! It is really a substantial piece and so unusual. It looks like a mini casserole dish! I love looking at it while I am busy in the kitchen. Trying to infuse the kitchen with some Craftsman touches and this fits the bill!
