Nicely Designed in England; Poorly Made in China.
First, despite efforts of the company to make you think otherwise this teapot is made in China. Since I asked before I bought it where it was made and was told the UK I was really irritated to find out otherwise. I can't blame other owners because the pot itself says "designed in England" and all the obvious wording implies its made in England. But the box said, in very small print, made in China.Since I am wary of using anything food related from China this was a problem. Also the quality was poor as the glazing had small holes which detracted from the appearance. The teapot was designed in England and the design itself is great. It doesn't drip and has a nice large capacity. Too bad they had to outsource it and did not have good quality control for production. If you don't mind things made in China and luck out to get one that was made correctly you would probably like this teapot a lot.

Came with a chip from the outside sitting in the pot!
Out of the box there was a chip sitting in the pot. Take out the tea pot examine it and find the place where the chip goes on the spout outside. So it seems someone chipped it, and then put the chip in the pot! What..!?!?

Broken
$25 for shipping and it ends up being broken anyways, then another $60 to send it back to get a refund or a new tea pot, 6 months later not a refund back from them, or a new pot. Do not buy

Very nice but the spout drips
The pot is nicely finished and has the finest mesh strainer I have ever seen on a teapot. However, the darn thing drips at the spout. My previous pot from this manufacturer absolutely did not drip - which was a first!

it was broken
Well it was a complete waste of money as it was smashed when it arrived.

Great teapot for marathon tea drinking. No drips.
I bought this pot because I was tired of drips from my cheap teapot and I wanted a larger pot for use with company and mugs of tea. This teapot is not cheap, but it is well worth the money. It holds almost 7 cups, 56 ounces of water without the tea strainer and filled to the tippy top. If you don't pour too much at once, it does not drip. It is heavier than the cheap teapot, which I think means that the pot is thicker, and thus keeps tea hot longer. I have also used it with the tea filter, and that fits nicely in the pot, keeps all tea except tea powder completely out of the cup. It should be noted that the tea filter for this pot and the '6' cup pot are not quite the same size.

Fantastic product for the price
First things first - if you're expecting the finest teapot with the world's best finish and materials then you might want to look elsewhere. This is a mass produced teapot that does everything it should do perfectly.Overview: It is extremely large (I bought the 6 cup version) and has a metal tea leaf strainer (not sure if that's the correct word for it when it resides in the teapot).Pros: The spout is excellent: you really have to try hard to get it to dribble down the side of the pot.The metal strainer reaches to the bottom of the pot so that if you only want a small quantity then that's fine. The holes on the strainer are fine, meaning that if your tea leaves and very small and granular (like the Twinings ones in particular I find) then you still don't get any particulate matter in the tea.It is solidly made and will last a very long time if you wash it well.It seems to be more than capable of keeping tea hot for a long time (I do always make sure to preheat it first with boiling water).Cons:The finish on the inside is not perfect but that is to be expect at this price. What I mean by this is that there a few lumps and bumps on the inner surface, but those won't be visible to anyone. If you're perhaps quite dainty and planning on using this to fill up to the brim then please take care as it will be heavy. This is not a con of the product as such, just a consequence of the laws of physics. If you're considering a large teapot and don't want to spend a fortune, go for this. You will not regret it.

Filter Tea Pot from London Pottery
This pot is amazing. The filter means that I can remove it after pouring the first cup and the tea then stays at the same strength and taste without that awful too brewed taste. The filter is easy to clean once you get used to the idea of emptying and rinsing before your next cup. NO MORE NASTY DUSTY TEA BAGS. Will probably buy another pot with filter so that I have a back up.

Real tea again, at last!
I like tea made with REAL tea but since my last teapot got broken, I have been struggling to find one that DOES NOT dribble, is big enough to hold more than three breakfast cups and holds tea leaves. Added bonus is the easy to empty filter. The teapot was more "army green" than emerald but, hey, that it not important. It makes a lovely cup of tea. So impressed, I recommended it to my sister and she has since ordered a smaller one - she too is impressed. I will definitely get a smaller one for those days when I only have time for one cup, then I won't have to use "teabags".
