Cardinal/Detecto Scale Wheels for Detecto Physicians Scale Detecto, 1 Pound

This is the ultimate scale, the same one everyone uses at my YMCA. I was appalled when my expensive electronic scale died for the ridiculous reason that my bathroom has humidity. I would have paid two or three times as much to get this Detecto scale.

This scale works well & I bought the wheel attachment so it's easy to move around. The only reason why I gave it 4 & not 5 stars is because it seems to be made from pretty thin metal. However, with that being said I'm still glad I made the purchase.

A balance beam should "float." This does NOT, even after oiling. It is not a quality item, and Amazon says it's ineligible for return. Why?? Detecto said I must deal with Amazon, and I've been unable to speak with them. Stuck with a chintzy item I don't want.

You gotta have the wheels if you plan on having to move your scale around.

Instructions were confusing but eventually got it together. Factory was helpful.
