This is a very helpful booklet to have if you’re new to the building trades. Has valuable information at the turn of a page. Easy to read and understand. Glad I purchased it.

You can teach yourself.
My husband got tired of people saying they don't k ow how to do different angles.. so we bought 3 of these book and it was the best decision we made. Even our boys have learned angles. It's easy to read and figure out. It's so small it fits right in your glove box and takes up no room. And if tou ever need it It's very self explained.

Now I know what that stuff means.
I've owned a Swanson Speed Square for as long as I've been able to run a saw and have always wondered what all those things meant on it. When I found out that there was this book on it, I knew I had to have one. I'm not a carpenter just a jerk of all trades kind of and this thing helped me to understand what those things mean. It will make building and cutting much easier in the future.

This is a MUST HAVE little book. It has EVERYTHING you need to know to make stairs and rafters. Super value. This is my 4th book as the other three went to other guys to help them out.Outstanding.

An excellent guide and quick calculator for so may site carpentry tasks. It's written in imperial but you can convert to metric. Makes for speeding up the work. Great for beginners. But you have to be able to scope metric and imperial.
