I bought this strap in a 20mm version to replace a steel one on a nice Accurist watch that I wasn't wearing due to the supplied strap having no fine adjustment. Despite having recently tried a butterfly clasp on a Citizen Navihawk and not liking it, I actually think the comfort with this cheap clasp is better due to the wider buttons, despite it not being finished to quite as high standard as the Citizen one. For example, the surface that you press on each button is quite unevenly cut, despite having been polished. Incidentally, I do not intend to wear this watch whilst working at a desk and applying pressure to the underside of the strap and clasp so comfort so far has been fine. I have read reviews from wearers who have marked it down for lack of comfort due to this issue. That's the nature of butterfly straps though, they add bulk and bits that press against your skin.As for the strap itself, it would appear to be one of the least leathery 'genuine leather' straps I've ever seen owing to the thinnest slivers of leather being used for the top surface, if indeed it is real leather. It does look and feel a bit plasticky. However, the strap is actually quite well made and I appreciate the handy pins that do not require a tool to fit the strap to your watch. I would say that the overall look and feel of the strap and clasp is pretty good. Any flaws in the finish of the clasp are minor and could be easily sorted out with some needle files, fine wet-and dry paper etc. I may do this when I get a moment to spare and finish with some buffing with my Dremel.Note: The underside of the metal clasp that forms an arc against the wrist has a narrow radius which means the ends of the clasp can dig into your skin when pressed against it. A previous butterfly clasp I have experienced featured a wider radius and therefore didn't press against the skin in quite the same way as here.As long as your expectations aren't too high then you may be happy with this strap and clasp. If not, keep it in the condition it arrived in and send it back for a refund. It has certainly enhanced the look of my watch so I'm am fairly pleased with my purchase but I feel that it should be nearer £10 given the somewhat disappointing finish on the clasp and the thin, plasticky strap.

Unlike some reviewers I am very impressed with this product. It looks very smart and seems to be good quality. Great presentation. A joy to receive. The tools are excellent too. I have only dropped a star as it replaces a watch band of the same size but the connecting bits to the watch were too short so I had to use the old ones. The instructions didn’t explain how to do this although two types were included. I worked it out by chance. Still, great product.

Quite expensive for the quality.The leather was everso slightly larger than 20 requiring a "squeeze fit*.Leather around the quick release looks awful after only a couple of days.Clasp feels very weak and can be opened with a knock or brushing against clothing. Luckily I have a case on the watch.It'll do until I can afford a strapcode metal bracelet.

This strap is very well made imo, the buckle is very sturdy and the leather is pretty nice as inexpensive leather watch straps go, I think it is well worth the money
