why it smell so different than the taiwan grass jelly? smell like awful chemical substance!

I agree it did smell like chemical.I ended up throwing it away, afraid to eat them.

Prepare syrup aside add the banana flavour in the pack into your syrup. After four hours take off your grass jelly and cut into small pieces, add syrup for serving. One pack I serve for ten cups.
