Kit was exactly what I needed. Changing out battery was easy. Speaker works great again!

Product installed ok, fit well. That is where the good news ends, started to lose life after 6 weeks. After 2 months totally dies now after just 2 minutes unplugged. Shame as I did like the life it brought back to a great speaker.

Wires were to short so I had to cut the wires from the old battery and attach to the new one to be able to connect to the circuit board, beside that small issue the battery works and now I am able to listen to music again

This battery, in fact, does NOT replace the stock battery for the HK Onyx Studio 3.1. The stock Onyx Studio 3 battery cord is about 1-2 two inches longer than this one. It is impossible to plug in this replacement battery, as it arrives from Amazon. It will work, but the wiring must first be extended like two extra inches.Also, not that important, is the speaker cover is not installed with star screws; they are actually #1 Phillips. But, that’s just FYI.That said, the stock battery is 2600 mAh @ 3.7 VDCThe replacement battery is 3400 mAh @ 3.7 VDC.Ergo, this battery, if you’re willing to put in a little time and extending the harness, not only will work and work well, but will also last longer since the capacity is so much bigger.I give it 3 stars because I was t ready to do the work. But after I did and got it put back together, I’m happy with it.Love this speaker.

Love the battery. Came with the tools I needed holds charge longer the original.
