pump isn’t great but bird bath is beautiful
I agree with other posters about having to mount the pump somehow in the middle of the bird bath because when it runs full spray it floats and sprays outside the birdbath using all the water and you have to constantly refill. It’s been over 24 hrs and yesterday was a day of full sun. I put rocks in it to stabilize the pump (the rocks in the middle on top are not in the way of the solar panels, they are there to weigh the pump down so it is fully submerged in water-as that was an issue too). First day I had a really pretty fountain spraying constantly. But on the second full day it sprays only about 4 inches high and then nothing. Then sprays again about 4” high. I’ve ordered another one to see if perhaps this pump is defective and will update when I know. It’s all pretty. I can’t wait to see birds bathing! **UPDATE** After another 24 hours of use, I realized, as others have mentioned, that it doesn't store the solar energy; the bubbler works based on how much sun it's getting at the time. It was sunny on my second day of use, but there were some clouds, so I believe that is why the bubbler wasn't spraying full spray. To note: I filled the stand with sand to weigh it down since I can't use the stakes (My bird bath is sitting on top of a septic pump cover) and I decided I would add another rock to cover one of the panels to decrease the full spray so I wouldn't have to refill as often. It gives just enough bubble in full sun now so hopefully the water stays agitated enough during the daylight hours (will not run at night or on cloudy days) so that mosquitoes won't breed there. I think decreasing the fountain of the bubbler will also work better since I get some wind bursts that would typically blow the water out of the bowl even with it mounted in the middle of the bowl. The smaller the fountain, the more water stays in the bowl. To me, this is a great find and worth the money. I've now watched birds bathing and drinking water. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Now.. does anyone know what I could put in there to keep the algae at bay? I don't have any yet, and can't find any older real copper pennies. Should I just buy a piece of copper? **2nd UPDATE: I still LOVE the birdbath! But the pump already stopped working! Guess I'll have to purchase a new pump. One that will stay centered so that I don't have to use rocks.

Beautiful bird bath combo that livens up the garden
This bird bath and solar fountain set brings charm to any outdoor space. The polyresin construction gives it a classic antique look without the weight and fragility of real stone. Once the solar pump kicks in the fountain adds relaxing movement and sound, which is lovely to watch while sipping coffee outside. Birds have started visiting regularly, and the combination of bird bath and water feature has turned it into a little wildlife hub. The solar pump worked well even on partly cloudy days, though it can slow a bit when sunlight isn’t strong. That’s the only minor quirk but overall the performance stays consistent in bright conditions. Assembly was simple and instructions were clear. It drained easily for cleaning, and after weeks in the sun it still holds up without fading or cracking. This bird bath set delivers style and function at a fair price. Four stars because the fountain flow isn’t super powerful under low light but otherwise it feels sturdy and inviting for garden birds.

Great Birdbath
We had this beautiful birdbath in the backyard and I got a little salt or panel fountain to go on top of it and as long as I keep water in it, it’s just delightful. The birds love to take baths in it. Easy to put together and I did get gravel to put in the bottom of the bowl to keep it weighted down.

Decent bird bath
Love the bird bath alone. Water spout doesn't work the best even when the bath is full. Not super sturdy but It does come with stakes and the post does allow you to fill it with rocks or sand. The color is nice and gives a bit of a rustic vibe. No sound from the spout.

Beautiful Solar Fountain Bird Bath
So easy to set up, it took a few minutes to put together, add the water and drop in the Solar Fountain. Works best on flat ground with direct sunlight, but will also work in the shade, just not as powerful or continuous. Absolutely recommend this setup. Comes with various nozzle combinations that you can put on to try for different fountaining effects. The bird bath is a lightweight plastic, looks good, couldn’t be happier with my purchase and now I’m just waiting for the birds to notice a new place to get a drink of water.

Don't waste your money...leaks
Bought this less than a year ago. Had issues with the top attaching to the bottom initially. Worked through that. Now the top has cracked in multiple places to where it leaks out continuously. It's attractive, but flimsy and is now completely unusable as the crack cannot be fixed. Don't waste your money if the goal is to keep water in it. Extremely disappointed in this that it didn't even last a year.

After some modifications this is a great birdbath
Out of the box this birdbath is not so great, but keep reading because there is good news. First all the bad stuff/problems; It’s easy enough to assemble, but mine came with 0 instructions for both the bath and the fountain, so some tinkering (and a keen observation by my wife) was needed to assemble this thing lol. Once assembled this sat in our yard for two weeks and was unused by a single bird. This was because there are a few major problems. 1. It is way too deep for small & medium sized birds like White-Throated sparrows, Robins, and Orioles. Yet it is a bit to small around and unstable/lightweight for larger birds like Ravens and Red-Headed Woodpeckers 2. The floating fountain has bigger problems. It comes with multiple sprinkler heads for different spray options. Under indirect light or overcast days they all work fine but are weak, which would be perfect. However, once the sun is overhead or the clouds break and the fountain is in direct sunlight it turns into a much more intense spray. The problem with that is basic physics. Because the fountain is free floating the force from the stronger spray eventually pushes itself to the edge, and rather quickly all the water sprays out onto the ground leaving your bird bath empty. I tried all the sprinkler heads, and given enough direct sun they all fail in this way. Plus, birds only want a gentle trickle of water, not a roaring geyser. So around noon it goes into geyser mode and quickly empties itself while scaring off any bird that may be in the area. Here is the good news, and the fix for all the mentioned problems so you can turn this into something all birds will love! - Assemble the bird bath and fountain - Fill the bath with 5 to 6lbs of small crushed gravel, or river rocks. This makes the water the perfect depth for small/medium song birds. It also gives them some texture and something to perch on making them feel much safer. Lastly the rocks add some weight and stability so larger birds won’t knock it over - To fix the fountain; Take the smallest sprinkler head and drill out the middle with a 3/8” bit. That will give you the perfect stream of water. In direct sunlight the stream is about the size and power of a drinking fountain. With indirect or overcast sun it will be a light/pulsing trickle. Either way it makes just enough splash to attract and entice the birds without pumping the water over the side I say 3 stars because out of the box it isn’t much good. There is quite a bit of tinkering needed to turn this into a functional birdbath, but it was so worth it. We put out the modified setup early Saturday afternoon and it immediately started attracting birds. All the pics here are from the first weekend! In less than 36 hours we have attracted an amazing amount (and variety) of feathered friends to our yard, sometimes 2 or 3 at a time! Robins, Orioles, Gray Catbirds, Cardinals, Bluebirds, Brown-headed Cowbirds, Sparrows, even a Scarlet Tanager!! They’re all in line for the pool party :)
