Wow. Bought his over a year ago. Use it several times a day. Excellent in every way. Love it. I bought a different brand at Costco a few years ago and returned it. Complained to the manufacturer that I was scalded when it over heated drink. Even sent a photo. They were useless about it.

I bought this microwave and was happy at first til one day it just stopped working The customer service was not helpful when I called to get them to replace it They will not replace this unit (per the representative ) They would however refund if you can jump through hoops and have the original paper receipt and then it would take up to 10 weeks for this to happen Unit was bought 8/27/2015 Unit went out 3/8/2016

I bought this for less than $100 new in 2015 so I've had it for 7 years. It still heats up food but the coating on the inside is peeling off so I'm getting rid of it. Pluses: Good design of the door because you simply pulled it open-no having to push a lever and then pull the door open. It is only 900 watts so if the coffee maker is on at the same time, it doesn't throw a breaker. It has a clock, which is easy to read. It has a beeper that goes off every 30 sec to remind you something is ready. Negatives: Hard to clean. Can't change the lightbulb (so it has been dark for 3 years. I hate the revolving plate, which always goes off the tracks. Noisy as heck. I hate the programmable number pad. Anybody who actually programs a microwave needs therapy. I am replacing it with a Panasonic commercial microwave oven. Handle on door. Quiet. No revolving plate. No programmable number pad, just a timer dial. It cost a little more but it is built to last.

I finally got moved into my own place and took it out of the box and pieces are missing and it won’t even heat anything up!!!😡

We bought this after an Emerson microwave we bought quit working after about eight months.We are very disappointed in this microwave. It does not cook evenly. And it does not heat the food very well at all. It takes much longer to microwave this food then any other microwave we had. The body of the microwave seems sturdy and the buttons seem very responsive. We like that do not have to set the time in order to use the microwave. I do not recommend this microwave oven though. It's big enough for typical one-plate heat-ups but not anything larger. We have noticed that the timer does not always stay set. We set the timer every day when we put pop in the freezer to make it cold quickly and I'd say about 10% of the time the timer never beeps and it seems that the timer un-set itself. So I now set an alarm on my phone for the pop instead of relying on the microwave timer. It is nice though that you can still microwave food in it with the timer being set. Some microwaves do not allow it. But since the timer is unreliable and the food heats unevenly and it takes far too long to heat up food I do not recommend this microwave. I'd steer clear of Emerson as well due to our bad personal experience with them.

I bought an emerson microwave from target a few days ago, only to discover that when I set it up, all of the buttons worked except for the start button, making it unusable. Upon returning the microwave, I purchased this sunbeam microwave as a replacement. I put mac and cheese in it to heat up, and after heating it for thirty seconds, then a minute, then three minutes, the mac and cheese was still COLD. During this process, as I opened the microwave, the handle CAME OFF COMPLETELY. I'm completely appalled by what has happened over the last few days. The fact that a company can produce such cheaply made products and expect them to work is beyond me. Ridiculous.
