Perfect for 60hz TVs and 5.1 channel setups
Crystal clear audio for 5.1 systems, even at very high or low volumes. Volume increases/decreases in .5db increments. Easy to set up spacial audio using the included microphone. Does NOT support 4k 120hz, only 60hz. I use this with Optical audio out from the TV to get around the bottleneck. Bluetooth and radio functions also work well. Great for anyone not yet ready to go to 7.1 or 120hz.

Phenomal sound at half the size, easy setup once HDMI ARC is connected
Update after 2 months: The first couple of times you really use this device, it will get HOT and smell. Please keep it ventilated properly and the heat will not negatively impact the life span on this device... The quality of sound and simple hookup from TV to devices through this receiver has been a joy. Only other item to note, my TV requires me to select 'audio source' in sound over 'Tv Speakers' to send audio in sync to the receiver. My only complaint is the USB port is always powered, even in standby. Hope that helps. Easy setup on TV via HDMI / ARC connection and tuner remote. This even measures your speaker setup for optimal sound and adjusts the volume of each speaker automagically. The connection on the back has space for my 4 HDMI input (ps4, bluray, turntable, laptop) and one extra :). The speakers are all two wire, so now my 5.1 system is driven by a 100W tuner with ARC support to my TV. My old tuner did not have ARC and this is a HUGE upgrade. Even my streaming apps (minus Disney) get Dolby Plus for 5.1. The only oddity is HEOS... why? you have airPlay... so just play music that way... why let an app sell what you listen to? Great small solution (half the size of a Yamaha or Onkyo) for me, loving it.

It’s almost like I got new speakers too
I always wanted Marantz but couldn’t afford them until this went on sale and I couldn’t resist. The quality is far superior to my old H/K AVR and the sound is like I got new speakers in the deal too! I liked my Fluance speakers before but now, wow is all I got. Only thing was no Alexa, the Helos skill in Alexa is crap and won’t connect so I connected an echo to the back and now it has Alexa, select the proper input and ask her to play whatever. Apple play works well. The setup routine is a bit tedious and you can’t really use the AVR until you run it. It did detect an issue with my sub that I didn’t know about which resulted in a new sub. It also seems to work well with my Logitech Harmony hub, better than my old unit. All in all, I’m pretty happy with my acquisition and would highly recommend…let’s hope time doesn’t change that opinion.

Suits me, no regreats on this purchase.
It does what I need and wanted. I previously had the Marantz NR1403. This took about an hour to set up. I have a blu-ray player and turntable with Klipsch speakers connected to it. With the HDMI cable I can connect my laptop to it. Blu-ray discs sound great. Its nice to have the TV speaker connection. Piece of cake to connect what I wanted. I love that I can connect my laptop. It was fairly priced for the quality and functions. I most likely will not stream music, but do listen to FM occasionally. Oh, you don't have to turn on the TV to use the laptop. I do because the laptop is dedicated to music and sits behind the TV. This is connected to a Samsung Smart TV. So far this is working flawlessly.

A good centerpiece component for building an affordable AV system
I could never afford a Marantz tuner amp in my younger years so I cannot compare the sound of the NR1510 to a 'back then' component system. However, I am very pleased with the music and AV sound delivery of this 100 watt unit with no compromises. It meets and exceeds my expectations. I port the HEOS internet music [included in the amp] and Audio Video sources to 3 Klipsch speakers. No distortion or unanticipated interference is heard. There are plenty of robust, component-era connections via the rear panel to make an audiophile smile. You will need an HDMI TV or monitor to set up the NR1510. The flip side is a TV will display the internet stream data so you can see the HEOS information as the music plays. An analog antenna input is provided but with internet streaming and Bluetooth from a smartphone available, the question is WHY. TV connection is not absolutely necessary but makes setup easier. Bluetooth and Apple Airplay make this receiver complete for home background music and listening environment enhancement. Is this a 'Super Amp' that will delight high-end audiophiles? No way of knowing but it made my home listening complete and does everything I need - including providing the AV sound for movies and day to day TV. For the price, it is more than adequate for most needs.

Good receiver, just wish it last longer
I purchased mine factory refurbished, like new. Lasted for about 4 1/2 years and now will not power on. But when it worked, it works fine.

Intimidating Audio Receiver with Disappointing Results
I was really excited to get this AV receiver and thought it was like buying the Ferrari of audio equipment, only to find out performs more like a Hyundai. I had before a Fosi 2 channel dac receiver running 2 Polk xt30 speakers and it was clear and loud. I wanted to upgrade to an AV receiver with Dolby atmos, slim design and at least 5 channels plus Alexa ready. I decided on the Marantz because I have seen the larger ones in action before and thought the sound was incredible and it checked all my boxes for features I was looking for. Once it arrived it took forever to setup and go through the configurations, make sure you have the patience and at least half a day off to play with it. At first when I tried it nothing came out absolutely no sound, you should have seen my face. I then downloaded the app and updated the receiver with the current software version, and thank the lord it finally started to work. What I Like When connecting it to the HDMI Arc though my 65inch LG TV, it works very well and the surround sound watching movies is exceptional. Control TV Power, Volume and the AV Receiver with 1 Remote Control Receiver with Phone App What I Don’t Like Alexa feature in my region doesn’t work Slim design, but 28 pounds and much longer at 13 inches, hangs off the TV console Remote has redundant buttons, very large, not backlit, and no preset settings Bluetooth audio sounds scratchy and poor volume. It’s not loud at all, don’t think you are going to be shaking the windows Do I think it was worth the money, no way! Really for what I spent was expecting lot better performance and the features to work properly. I feel disappointed in the value for my money.

Do not buy
I could never recommend this unit in good conscious. I bought it in November, by February it was shutting off by itself. To the point I could not watch any movies or listen to any music through the unit. I reached out to Marantz who had me send it to a service repair shop. I sent the unit into the shop and had it returned only to have the same problem. Marantz will not send me a new unit and only wants me to keep sending it to repair shops for be fixed. Absolutely the worst purchase I can remember making. To spend over $600 for a paperweight is extremely disappointing. I would recommend any other unit beside a Marantz for I will never purchase another product from them.
