Touchscreen looks slightly different but works perfectly
My laptop is the Lenovo 6-14IMB. The new touchscreen looks slightly different and you must move a couple of little boards from the old to the new. The first picture shows the 2 boards to move in green. The red circle is around the part that doesn't exist on the new touchscreen. The light blue circles are around the only two connectors you must move the wires for. The second picture is of the entire back of the original touchscreen and the 3rd picture shows the entire larger connector since I cut it off in the first picture. I couldn't find any youtube videos for replacing the screen for this exact model but you can find videos of other Lenovo's and with the included pictures here, shows you what needs to be moved. It took me about 2 hours, mostly because of trying to figure out what to do. The doing it goes much quicker.

Vast Improvement Over the Stock Lenovo Flex-6-14ARR Screen
Got this in an attempt to upgrade the abysmal screen that comes with this otherwise fantastic laptop. The original screen was 1366x768 with terrible viewing angles. This one is true 1080p and has an almost 180 degree Y-axis field of view, which, IMO, is essential on a convertible laptop like this. Touch works great as before. Not sure about stylus input as I don't have one.Installation wasn't too bad as laptop work goes. The plastic strips by the hinges pop off revealing 4 philips screws. Once you get those out there are plastic clips around the perimeter. You carefully go around snapping those loose and once you do that you're left with the one pain in the ass bit about this installation: There is some fairly strong double sided tape running vertically on the left and right sides between the screen and the shell. You need to carefully peel the two sides apart. I used a long kitchen knife and gradually worked it down on both sides, twisting the sharp edge shell-wise in a poke-peel progression. Once that's done you can flip the screen down away from the shell, remove the cables (noting how they're routed and hooked), WiFi antennas, and camera board. Putting it back together is just the reverse, except this time you don't need to worry about that annoying tape. First bootup yielded a glitchy Lenovo logo and a blank screen, and it made the customary Windows "new device found" sounds. 2nd bootup was flawless. The original display identifies itself to the OS as Device ID: CMN14D6. This one identifies as BOE082C.If you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty with something like this, it's completely worth it. The difference is night and day.

Worked, but not always... and Pricey!!!
Happy with the purchase overall as it was able to be replaced and my daughter is very happy. After purchase though, I found out i had to get it professionally installed with another expense. I just do not get the price of it either. Some screens even larger and touch and all that cost half the price, and after an additional pro charge for the install of the screen.... one can be scratching their head wondering if it was all worth it? yep, i wonder till this day, but cannot cry over spilled milk. I moved on and notched it as one of those wt# expenses.

Perfect replacement for the Lenovo Flex
A friend asked me to replace the damaged screen on his Lenovo Flex. This display came well packaged. My friend is delighted with the results and says the video quality is significantly better than the original.
