A pain to get bent into the proper shape to catch the wind, but turns well in moderate breeze once perfected. Looks cool when spinning over the bird feeders and the small birds don't seem to notice it.We thought it might keep away hawks from the song bird gathering place and so far appears to beworking.After a couple of weeks of working (and always brought in during high winds and storms), the wife saysthe mounting hold is already enlarging and will eventually fail.Great. Another project for Mr. Fixit. I'll have to solder or epoxy small washers or something to the holeto keep it working.Did I mention the wife really loves it? I personally despise lawn ornaments, but it's less objectionablethan some.I would not gift it. I'd have to visit the gifted for tech support!

I generally don't like garden ornaments, but the peacock by itself is very nice and the reflection from sun/moon/garden lights is stunning. Surprisingly it needs very little wind to spin and will often be rotating even when nearby leaves and branches are still.

Gave to my niece as a going away gift and she loved it. Its colorful, perfect size and glad it can be used indoors or outdoors.
