Cool Classic
Very good if not excellent condition. Just as advertised. Nicely packaged. I hope I have the mental prowess to read and understand this Classic work. Still working my way through the helpful, and necessary, Introduction to this essay. Pax et bonum...

Liked this one but so hard to keep your attention because it's hard to read. Like the philosophy though. Had to read for my Master's.

Poor printing
The work is a classic, but this is a poor edition. Specifically, some pages were out of order (pages 13-14 are located after page 38). I would choose a different edition from a different publisher.

Good edition
Good edition and interesting read. I believe there is more than one letter but this is easy to read and a very good reprint.

The argument that we have to tolerate intolerant people just so that we can continue to be tolerant is a problematic one.

A college class requirement
If it were not for college class reading requirements would anybody actually buy these books? I know I certainly wouldn't have this on the top of my reading list

John Locke
Fascinating writing with some timeless points that easily transition to modern topics as Locke is heavily critical and vocal on religion amongst other things. If indulging philosophical interest in political philosophy its perfect but I also recommend to thos studying philosophy as tolerance is a brilliant topic and this is a perfect accompaniment.

facile à lire
John a apparemment évolué dans son système de pensées et ce livre reflète une certaine maturité bien supérieure à ce qu'on trouve aujourd'hui.
