WRONG! NOT 100% Cotton...arrrggghhh!
I originally bought a set of these about two years ago and so when I needed more I went straight for these! However, they are NOT the same as the ones I originally purchased, no way, no how! These are supposed to be 100% cotton which automatically means high absorbency which the first set are/were. I felt they arrived with some sort of "finish" on them but it would wash out/off...it DID NOT!!!! Even after repeated washings with hot water, detergent and even Borax they still have "that feel" to them and DO NOT absorb water well, they do however move the water around and spread it out on your kitchen counters and sink...not what I purchase dish cloths for...I WANT and EXPECT absorbency in my dishcloths that is why I purchase only 100% cotton...these say they are 100% cotton but they are CLEARLY NOT! There seems to be some sort of polyester in the fibers making them a blend NOT 100% cotton! This is an untrue description and false advertisement to potential buyers that only use and expect to receive 100% cotton dishcloths! A BIG WASTE OF MONEY, now I have expensive rags to wipe my dirty dog off with!

These are Dish Rags, Not Dish Towels
I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions. These are not kitchen towels that you would use to dry dishes; they're what we used to refer to as "dish rags." Dish rags were all the rage in the mid-20th century. Mom used them to wipe counters, clean pots and pans, and wash our faces before and after sitting down to supper--and she didn't always rinse them out between uses! Then along came cellulose sponges and they stole the show for the next fifty years. Well, guess what? Dish rags are back, baby! I was annoyed when I opened the package and realized I'd ordered the wrong thing, but since draping one of these little beauties over my kitchen faucet, housework has become a breeze! Counter top spill? Grab the dish rag! Runny mascara? Dish rag to the rescue! Cat throw up on the carpet? It's dish rag a-go-go! I only gave it four stars because I really wanted dish towels.

Very poor quality
These dish clothes are thin. Of the six in the package, four of them are very snagged up and stringy. Poor quality and workmanship. I have no doubt they'll fall apart with the first washing, given the amount of snags and irregularities in the weaving. Will be returning immediately.

Cheap, defective- not the same quality as original purchase
2nd purchase, so disappointing! I bought these three years ago because I like thin washcloths for doing dishes. I reordered them and they are a completely cheap, the fabric is pulling and there are even stains on the white ones. I can find better quality at the dollar store!Old ones on top, new ones (believe it or not) on bottom.

Love them. Perfect size. Absorbent. Don't fray in Wash - Updated after ordering again HORRIBLE!
This was my first review after receiving my first set of dishcloths: I have a hard time finding an absorbent terry dishrag because they are all too thick and big for cleaning up the kitchen counter, wiping the floor and for spreading body soap over my body. I use these for everything and will continue to. I wash them in a full cup of OxiClean and in hot water and they haven't been fraying at all and it's but even if they do 8 months or a year from now, they are easy to purchase again and inexpensive. No problems thus far and I've had them for months now.Updated review after ordering again: this seller is not doing quality control checks because I ordered 2 sets of dishcloths and they came packaged differently and a horrible quality. They were flimsy, with threads loose and you can even see through them. I now know how it is possible one person can write a positive review and another a very poor review. No consistency in quality. Look at new cloths I got on the right compared to what I received on the first order on the left

Thin. For looks not function! **UPDATE**
**UPDATE** Downgrading a star!If I thought these were cheaply made at first, they get worse after washing! The material felt so rough when they dried. Bad mistake choosing these. I literally could have done better by getting something from Dollar Tree. You can see from the photos that they are already thin/cheap-looking. After the wash, they got even more coarse and rough. When looking at the photos, keep in mind that the edges are folded over - so these are even thinner than that skimpy edge!Very, very thin. Make for nice decor more than for functionality. I got them because of the color. Will get some others for actual use.

Great washcloth for the kitchen!
There seems to be a lot of confusion about these! They are not towels - they are kitchen washcloths for washing dishes and wiping down counters. I've been using mine for 4 months and they are holding up well. They are not meant to be as heavy as a bathroom washcloth. They are the right size for their intended purpose of cleaning up in the kitchen. They remain soft and flexible and some of my older washcloths have not. I want fresh washcloths in the kitchen, so I toss them in the laundry at least once a day. I'll be reordering!

coming apart on 1st wash
I ran these through the wash the day I received them, and this is how they came out. There are threads coming apart everywhere...the stitching is not secure at all...the towels are a nice quality except for the fact that they fall apart immediately at the seams. Very disappointed in the quality, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Good dish cloths
Ordered thinking these were tea towels. They are very small and no good as tea towels however we are using them as dish cloths and suit this purpose.

Not bad, but....
I didn't want to leave a three-star review but I have to say even though the design is very nice, and there is some absorbability, I found it very thin extremely thin. I would have expected something to just be maybe double that. All in all I don't mind but probably wouldn't buy again. Longevity and durability can only be tested over the next few months. But considering house am I find that their overpriced. The stuff I could have gotten better quality at the dollar store. I just really like the colors

Terrible absorbency
Do not buy these towels, they do a terrible job at absorbing water. I'm not sure what low grade material they use to build these, but towels should not fail to absorb droplets of water

Very Cheap!!!
Looked like they were falling apart when I got them. They are very cheap. Everything sticks to them. Hard to shake crumbs and food pieces off after wiping surfaces.
