Improv Ideas: A Book of Games and Lists Product Bundle – May 30, 2006

It isn't often that you can find one book that will work with 8-12 year olds and also with adults, but the exercises in this book can easily be adapted for all ages. They could also be used in a regular classroom setting to encourage critical thinking about circumstances, emotions, or they can be placed in a historical setting. I especially like having the CD of the printed pages to work with. A "must have" piece for teachers of all ages.

I teach middle and high school drama and use this book in both classes. It's one of the few improv books I've bought that is user-friendly and adaptable as well as replete with great activities and ideas, suitable for secondary level classes and, with minor changes, for elementary as well. I highly recommend it for any drama teacher.

This is a great book. I teach and after school drama class and this book is one of my favorites! Packed full of ways for kids to express themselves and step out of their comfort zone while having a great time.

Although it's worth MUCH more.The CD-rom alone is worth the cost of admission. Fantastic ideas, some of which need tweaked, but ultimately I know I can go into a classroom with and have a successful time.I love the follow up questions they pose, encouraging discussion and a deeper thinking on the "games" included.

This is my third copy. I use it in my classroom more than any other improv book out there (and trust me, I have them all). Excellent.

Just ok.

This is a seriously great go to book for acting teachers! I love the format, the games and by far the printable lists are a bonus. Such a time saver!
