Big, bold & beautiful!
I've always found Elini Barokas watches to be some of the best looking in the world, but never got around to purchasing one until Amazon's boxing week sales were published last year (2014). I opted for this one because of its unique look (how many watches have you seen with a baby-blue face?).As usual, Amazon shipped this watch super fast (got it in 2 days, and it was the free shipping option!). First impressions out of the box? WOW. This watch is MASSIVE (biggest I've ever owned), looks extremely bold and has quite a bit of weight to it to back up the look. To some, it may come off as obnoxious and gaudy, but to others (such as myself), it looks like a piece of art. It's really well crafted, with accents in all the right places and looks very luxurious. Tells time accurately (so far) and I love the date feature (the way it's constructed, it appears to be a bit like one of those skeleton watches!). The band is comfortable and when adjusted to the right position, it sits on my wrist well, but boy is it a workout (...should have bought another for my other arm!). In addition, the watch says water resistant up to 200M - according to the well written warranty & manual booklet (kudos for Elini Barokas for that!) it can be used practically in all conditions (i.e. splashes, rain, shower, swimming, diving etc.).Overall 5/5 - If this watch is any indication of how Elini Barokas designs & manufactures watches, I'm going to be buying a few more in the future!
