Been using these for a few months now and thought I'd leave a review. The bars are great, can't fault them. Sturdy construction with screws and there are rubber pads on the bottom for grip. The wood is lightweight in the hand which threw me at first but the bars are rock solid in terms of stability; when they're supporting your weight they don't budge a millimetre. They also don't leave any marks on the floor despite the weight / pressure going through them. The wood is smoothed down. Using the parallettes took me a few sessions to get used to. It can take a bit of getting used to feeling the weight of your body go through the crease of your hand rather than your whole palm. I found wrapping some socks around the bars helped me get used to that, then after a while it was fine without the extra padding. I decided to get bars because I had been getting pain / numbness in the cubital nerve on one side out of the blue after many years of doing push-ups off the floor. Pleased to say that since making the switch to these parallettes there has been no such pain. If you've had similar pain I'd say getting some bars is worth a shot. Your hands feel in a much more natural position rather than palm stretched back at 90 degrees. And when you're not having to worry about your wrist I feel like it's easier to push harder and get more out of the exercise.

I have been using these parallettes for about two months now and they've served me well. I have no complaints. Sturdy, good quality wood, smooth, and does the job. Five stars.

Made of wood. So biodegradable not like other plastic products. Sturdy and solid. Used straight out of the box. I have returned to press-ups without wrist discomfort and this simple but effective product has enabled me to do this.

If looking for parallettes as conditioning aids for gymnasts, look no further. Cheap, strong, do the job... and are delivered in two days... Yes a slightly longer version would be nice for bigger gymnasts, but for the vast majority of kids in your club these are perfect. In fact for kids aged 14 and younger they are the idesl size for conditioning, handstands presses, levers etc... Don't waste money on the expensive versions or time making DIY versions for your club... Buy these. For the price of two sets from a gymnastics company you will have enough sets of RAMASS ones for everyone in your typical group so no pairing up and waiting around for parallettes... Any elves reading this, yes, they make great stocking fillers for gymnasts who practice at home.

Really great quality - bought for my 11 yo daughter for gymnastics training at home. Can easily take my weight so will be using them as well. Delivery was so quick, ordered Sunday morning, was expecting delivery on Wednesday was delivered today! (Monday) - thank you! Would recommend 100%
