I've never tried to vinyl wrap anything. So for my very first project I tried to wrap the gas tank on my motorcycle in one piece. Now this is not a easy task and I'm far from good at this type of thing. But I will say this quality wrap/vinyl did help alot with making the job go smoothly. It didn't come out perfect but that's due to me not the vinyl itself. I tried using another product and it was no where near as easy to work with. This vinyl made my gas tank presentable for a first time wrapper. Very happy with the strength, adhesive, and quality of this vinyl and will absolutely use again. Ordering another roll soon so I can get some more practice with wrapping things. I have high hopes for trying to make my gas tank look 100% next time. Practice makes perfect!

I shouldn't have gone for the cheap alternative to the 3M material. This stuff came dirty, with heavy creases which made making it perfectly smooth sometimes impossible. Material is not very pliable even when heated with a heat gun. Maximum stretch is about 1 inch which makes it difficult to wrap wheels. I spent too much time trying to apply the damn thing for moderate results which lasted 1 day. Less then 24 hours after instillation bubbles started to appear, and edges began to peel back. Displeased and now i'm stuck with all this useless vinyl. Only use is for wrapping household things for style but no functional purpose.

The look and feel of this product is amazing. I found it to be very strong as well. I wrapped a spoiler that had some very difficult contours and compound curves, but the vinyl can take a lot of heat and stretching so it wasn't a problem. I just took my time and worked each section. As others have stated, the tube containing the vinyl was pretty much destroyed during shipping and the vinyl was heavily creased and wrinkled. At first I was worried, but due to a time crunch I had to move forward with the project. In the end, every single wrinkle came out on it's own with moderate heat while stretching around various curves. So not a problem at all. The nice texture and satin sheen of this product were exactly what I was looking for.

Pros; The wrap was good and high quality. Help up really nicely on a car hood, and yes this is enough for a car hood. The wrap looked amazing and like real carbon fiber. Cons; Goodness this was hard to put on. The wrap came inside a giant box with crinkles and bubbles so you have to give the wrap time to lay flat and gain a solid shape. Make sure you work from the middle out with the wrap otherwise it'll wrinkle and look terrible. It took a long time for it to fully settle down on my car hood. I used heat guns and blow dryers and let it sit in the spring of Arizona and it took about a week to fully sit and not peel back off. It doesn't have the bubbles spread out to get little air pockets out of the wrap so you really have to take it slow. Tips; take your time and work slow, make sure you have a softer round tip squeegee because it it is too hard it can rip the wrap and ruin it. Make sure you fully heat the wrap so it "bakes" onto the surface. letting it sit and harden takes along time. Make sure you have several people to help if you are doing a large surface, work from the middle out and pay very close attention.

Buenas material aunque la pega es muy agresiva

I purchased this as a "test" to decide if I like the look before committing to the added cost of a higher-end brand. Overall it's decent. It has a great carbon fiber look when applied correctly. However, there are two major downsides: (1) - This product (at least the one that I received) DOES NOT have air-release channels as noted in the description. You'll find yourself tracking down and working out small bubbles for hours. (2) - The vinyl has vertical stripes along it, making it look a little like a pinstripe suit. I'm guessing that this is a result of the printing process, but it dramatically takes away from the carbon fiber look. It's not visible from some angles, but once you spot it it can't be unseen. See my attached photo for an example. You can see these lines running from the top to bottom of the bonnet. It's definitely not the end of the world, but if you're looking for a realistic carbon fiber wrap, this makes it a deal breaker.

Used this for my car and its really great and worth the price, they definitely give you a large amount.

this has been on my car for about 6 months its held up very well through the weather, was pretty tough to put on, took me and another person about three hours to do my hood but its lasted and I've yet to see any lifting
