This was a very tasty Iberico de Bellota! Lower fat than other cuts, but great aging, texture, and flavor. It comes as 1 lb of uncut meat.

I love iberico pork and have tried many different makes. I thought i would splurge on this one as it was my birthday. Sadly - it just didnt work. Not the products fault. Was just too ‘porky’ for me.

The lomo 5J’s used to be quite good from this source, but this last one was uncured, thus extremely soft and in a cardboard box instead their usual tube.

Update on this product. I received the replacement and totally worth the investment. It was a hit with our family as we did a virtual tour of Spain. It was preferred over the Iberico shoulder that we also purchased. The meat is delicious and flavorful. It has a buttery taste with light Smokey notes. Paired nicely with our Spanish Omelet. Special thanks to the seller. They were very responsive and got the replacement to us in time. I would definitely trust purchases from them. Great customer service. Updated. Got in contact with seller today and working on exchange. The team at Markys is very helpful and responsive. I will continue to update this post. This product didn’t come vacuum sealed and the meat had moldy spots on it. See white spot on top of meat. Can not return and cannot eat. Can anyone at 5J’s please help.

Nice meat, but a little expensive…

We have purchased via Amazon and directly from Company. Price the same but advertise you get a 1lb. You never get a pound. Always under. Sometimes as much as 1/4 off. Called company to complain. They made it right once but have stated it comes prepackaged from Spain so will never be exactly a pound. Understand this but price should be adjusted accordingly by a per pound rate. I realize this is hard to do for easy sales. So really you are paying much more per pound for the product The product is excellent but they are really overcharging
