My sister was in Germany and had sent one home as a Christmas gift, I was very excited to find these on Amazon.

Garbage
I purchased two lamps. Didn’t even light these lamps. They are very cheaply made. The threads used to connect the lamp to the base were cross threaded on both, the wick mechanism was broken on one. I would not trust these to operate as designed. Stay away from these lamps…

Lamp
Be sure not to fill past seam, and leave even more space when filling, because lamp tilts, (when mounted)and oil will drip through seam.

It's really nice, but dark smoke chrome
It's well made, has a good burner, but it's more of a dark metal, not nickel chrome, I ended up returning it, but I wonder if I could have used some steel wool or something to clear it, because it's very beautiful.

Great extra lighting anywhere needed.
Globes were smaller than I expected, but gorgeous non the less. Perfect for extra lighting. Do not overfill with oil.

Dangerous, but only if you use it...
Leak,leak,leak. How is this safe, lamp oil all over with a flame near by? Ordered 3, only 1 even worked.3rd one would not even screw together. Really awful product. You could burn your building down. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK, DANGEROUS!!!
