I've been taking these for a month and a half now, and although I haven't been tracking my hair growth, I have noticed that my nails are thicker and stronger, which shows me that it is clearly getting into my system. I do not feel that my nails are growing quicker than before - I'm not needing to trim them more often than usual or anything, which is totally fine by me, because I started taking these in hopes of better hair health. I've been getting headaches recently, but I cannot pinpoint the exact cause of my headaches. I'm not sure if others have had headaches as a side effect, so, I just wanted to mention that in case someone else has also experienced that. I should also add that my nail tips are whiter since taking these. They used to be kind of an off-white color, and now grow out a clean white, which is great. Update: It's been around 8+ months of my taking these. I no longer get headaches from taking them, and I definitely have seen improved hair health, and quicker growth. It is not something you'll notice overnight, but if you take one every day, for months, you'll begin really noticing a difference. My hair is longer, slightly fuller, and even softer. I've noticed that I get a lot of baby hairs as well, so, new growth. My nails do grow slightly faster than before, but the major benefit is still, nail strength. They are much stronger. Update: It's been over a year. I continued to experience hair growth from this product, and new baby hairs are still popping up around my hairline, that I wasn't even aware had been thin. I stopped taking this for one week. When I started taking it again, the headaches came back. My boyfriend is now taking them as well. He has noticed my new hair growth, and that my hair is softer. We were hoping these could possibly help strengthen his beard, and within a week, we began to notice his beard was growing quicker, fuller, and slightly softer. Downside? He has had terrible headaches. So, I can say, with 100% certainty, this product can cause headaches when you first begin taking it. My recommendation is to take it at night, before bed, in an attempt to sleep through the potential headaches.

Weak nails, try Biotin. I selected this product because it is organic and non GMO. I had weak nails for many many years. Dr prescribed biotin once a day. 5000 mcg worked wonders for my weak nails. I could not keep long nails due to how thin and weak they were. After taking this product they don't break or split as easy and have grown thicker and longer. I saw results in about 3 months. This is OK for me because my nails were weak for so long. So waiting for results, no problem. Worth it.

I'm torn on what to rate this. My hair does seem to be growing well since I've been using this biotin, but I haven't noticed a huge difference in nail strength or health, they are still thinking and tend to peel a lot. My skin is also not seeing any changes. But I'm happy with my hair so trying to keep the faith that the rest will change soon. I haven't noticed an increased energy level at at. As far as the capsules themselves, they have the slightest sweet flavor, stay in their shape in the heat, though I do have to give the container a shake occasionally, nothing really melts. They are a pale white-ish somewhat clear color.

My mother-in-law was using this and felt it helped with her thinning hair and brittle fingernails. She suggested it to me about a year ago and I have been taking it ever since. I know my nails are stronger and I can say that my hair is no thinner in this time period. I don't honestly know if it is any thicker. I recommend it.
