Easy to take on and off! Doesn’t tear!
Awesome! This is insulated so condensation doesn’t build up when venting outside into colder air. Our washer and dryer is upstairs and the vent go up the wall into our attic then over our master bedroom’s bathroom then vents outside. Well our old ductwork wasn’t insulated so during winter months condensation would apparently build up in duct work without our knowledge. Long story short one morning my wife was brushing her teeth and all the sudden the water that held been building up in duct in attic broke through the cheap aluminum vent and the drywall on ceiling then water came down into her sink. Lucky me not on her head but close! We had no idea condensation was building up in the dryer vent. We get it cleaned out professionally too every six month as we do tons of laundry with 5 kids! So the condensation had been building up fast! We live in a newer home over with over 4000 square feet but we never go into attic so would have never known old duct work was tearing from weight of water. Maybe it ripped from cleanings overtime Idk but point is this insulation duct seems to do the trick as you can just feel the difference in quality. It’s sturdy! Just so much better than the old tin duct work that always tears and rips when you try to install it with the metal clamp and the little screw. This insulated duct stays in tact and goes slides right on doesn’t tear. Still goes on with metal clamp and screw but because it’s a strong plastic or pvc covering whatever it is it goes on smoothly! By the way State Farm didn’t cover the $4,000 plus damage to roof and repairs to duct work as they said this was a maintenance issue! And yes we presented them with years worth of receipts showing ducts cleaning every 6 months still denied it so I paid out of pocket. Now only $4,000 grand some may say but for someone who never had a claim in over 15 years on house or multiple cars you’d think State Farm would of tossed me a bone here but nope. I know what’s all this have to do with simple review of a 20 dollar piece of duct tubbing! If your on the fence of buying the old school cheap tin duct for your dryer vs dishing out few more bucks for the insulation duct get the insulated duct! It will save you thousands of dollars potentially! If you have the condensation problems with dryer venting outside. Excellent duct work just buy this. Was delivered same day when I had to have old one replaced. Well worth it and it easier to clean doesn’t tear when taking on and off etc. Buy it!

Excellent Versatile Ducting – Easy to Install and Durable
I’ve purchased this ducting twice now, and it’s been a great product both times. The quality is excellent — it’s sturdy but still flexible enough to work in tight spaces or custom setups. Installation is straightforward and doesn’t require any special tools. The included clamps make securing it simple and reliable. I’ve used it for multiple applications, including ventilation and exhaust setups, and it has performed consistently well. The four-layer design feels heavy-duty, and it maintains its shape without collapsing or tearing. Overall, it’s a solid, versatile choice for anyone who needs dependable air ducting.

Not directly compatible with xTool couplers
xTool has a 3 inch hose, so if you buy another 3 inch hose, you would expect them to be at least the same size and work with the same couplers. But when you try to use this hose with an xTool coupler, it’s several millimeters smaller in diameter, so it definitely won’t form anything close to a seal. The hose itself is fine and feels pretty durable. It is a thick plastic, but not rigid like the xTool plastic where you can actually turn the hose in a particular direction and it will support itself. I did find that the difference in diameter between the xTool hose and this hose is sufficient enough that you can wind this hose inside of the xTool. So if you can find a coupler that works with this hose and an xTool port, this might be a good solution. UPDATE: I added two more pictures. Because it slides inside the other tube, I cut the xTool tubing to make two ends that go into the coupler and still have enough of the rigid xTool tube to provide some control and structure. I think this will work if you just use this tube to extend your existing tube in the middle. In the pictures you can see that I removed a middle section of the xTool tubing and replaced it with this. For additional structure, you could add more elbows of the xTool tube at strategic locations around this tubing.

Works well for diesel heaters
I ordered this to use with my diesel heater it fits the ducting that came with the heater perfectly. It appears to be of good quality and is working well for me. There is a new plastic smell to it that dissipates quickly. Do not connect directly to the heater attach to the ducting that came with it and you’ll have no issues. If you attach directly to the heater it will get too hot

so far so good
i got this to go on a 6" inline fan to vent heat outside and it works well, it's somewhat heavy duty material, has some insulation factor to it to prevent the heat from radiating out of the duct and the plastic outside material is black which helps to camouflage it to a degree. it fit perfectly on a 6" fan, the clamps are plenty big enough to allow easy installation, with tons of adjustment, i'd venture to say these clamps would fit an 8" duct all the way down to a 4" duct. the flexibility of the duct makes it go around corners easily and it seems a great value for the money.

Decent hoses but PVC is off gassing
Just received my hose and the jury is still out. They weigh heavier than the full aluminum hoses you get from a home improvement store. The outer coating though is much thinner than I was expecting. The product picture makes it look thicker, but in reality, it's paper thin. The inner foil is also paper thin. In saying that though, the outer layer was difficult to tear a little piece off the end as a test. It stretched, but never tore off. The hose also folds up as nice as it came. The hose clamps are a nice touch, but I would prefer wingnuts at the end instead of the worm screw. Also, as a warning, be careful when taking the plastic wrap off. My thumb went through it and got sliced on the wire sticking out. You may want to put a piece of tape or something on the wire so it doesn't happen while camping. Now the part I'm not a huge fan of and the 3 star review rating. Mine smell. Some reviewers say they don't, while others say they do. My plan is to use it with a diesel heater and figured the foil would be enough of a barrier to let any harmful smells through it. While I haven't used it with the diesel heater, I stretched them out in a bedroom and just have them airing out. I would say it filled the entire room with that plastic smell. Hopefully they'll air out enough to make the smell go away in a few days. So overall, they seem somewhat durable, they fold back up nice, and the hose clamps are a nice feature. The smell though is a bit off putting but we'll see if it clears up.

Great vent hose, but used for other application.
Disclaimer: I am not using this product as it is designed. I purchased the dryer vent hose for a stage lighting project involving controlled fog placement. The aesthetics (appearance) fit the requirement, as I needed a non-reflective and darker flexible conduit for the application. The connections appear durable. In addition, I will be using the 4" diameter for attachment to fog machines and similar. However, the fit appears snug for this application. I did not confirm the length, but this is secondary to the requirement.

Flexible, good price, thin walls easy to tear.
Worked fine, but easily tore (fortunately, it tore near when I needed to cut it).
