As a father of four kiddos, I love to start traditions in our family....traditions that I hope will one day be passed on to my grandkids. Every year at Christmas time, I put a stuffed animal in the top of my kids stocking, partly because it's a cute way to top off an already stuffed sock, but also because I get such joy seeing the look on my kids faces, as they see the specific stuffy that I picked out specifically for them. For years I've been referring to my youngest daughter as "my lil monkey", and this year I decided to look for an affordable stuffed monkey that I could top her stocking with. I had two criteria, it had to be cute, and it had to be cheap (have you priced stuffed animals these days...wow). After scouring Amazon for the better part of an hour, trying to find the perfect monkey, I cam across this amazing little creature...and my heart strings were yanked, as I thought about the smile that would be across my little girls face Christmas morning. Like many of the other reviewers, I fell in love with this little guy. He's incredibly soft and well built, super cute, and much larger than I was imagining him to be....and the price point was perfect, and right in my budget! I can't begin to tell you how excited my daughter was that morning, but I can tell you that this daddy won the "Father of the morning" trophy, and a whole year's worth of hugs! I love the soft fur and spider monkey features. I purchased him to use as a puppet in our pre-school class at church and the children loved him.

This little monkey FAR exceeded my expectations. First of all, you can't beat Wild Republic. They are of such excellent quality and amazing detail! This little guy sits well by himself, is super soft and cuddly, his long tail made me laugh outloud. He just couldn't be cuter. Great gift! I only wish Wild Republic wasn't quite so expensive.

I have never been a stuffed animal person. That being said, I absolutely love this little monkey & wouldn't mind having one for me. I am certain my great nephew is gonna love him, too. It is well made and realistic.
