Ettore 30116 Squeegee-Off Window Cleaning Soap, 16-ounces

Squeegiees like a dream. No streaks, dries fast, cleans even sticky toddler handprints and doggy nose prints from glass. We've got hundreds of square feet of commercial (mostly indoor) glass to clean and this really gives professional results. Only 2 negatives. 1) Once the seal is broken, the cap is not leakproof and is a pain to carry without it leaking all over the carrying caddy. 2) No surprise, the kitchen windows inches from where the frying is done require a wipe down with degreaser before using this. The glass is covered in grease and is a little beyond this products abilities. A second wash with Squeegee-0ff might be enough, but we use the degreaser instead. Overall a really nice product with great results at a reasonable price.

I bought the Squeegee Off soap, along with the ProGrip Cleaning Kit and 5 Ft. Interlocking Pole to clean my skylights. I had no idea how else to clean the interiors since they were up so high. I decided to try using the ProGrip with the Squeegee Off cleaner to wash my windows too. I have probably tried every commercial window cleaning product ever made, as well as some homemade recipes I've found on line, but everything always left streaks (except for Glass Wax, which works but is a pain and leaves a powder residue everywhere).. Well, I've finally found something that works without streaking! If I could, I would rate this product 10 stars, it's THAT GOOD. Add a little to a bucket of water, soap up your windows, and squeegee off. That's all there is too it. Dirt and film are removed from the windows without leaving any streaks. My windows sparkle they are so clean. And it's so easy! If I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it. The squeegee in the kit is very well made (much better than the cheap one I bought at Linens & Things several years back) and I would hope, but haven't tested, any ol' squeegee would work just as well. The pole was plenty long enough to reach the skylights in my cathedral ceilings (I stood on a step stool but probably didn't need to). I would definitely recommend these products and would buy them again (I will probably stock up on the Ettore Squeegee Off because every time I find a product I love, it ends up being discontinued.)

Works best when accompanied with the right equipment. Once you own the perfect sponge/squeegee, extension rods and water bucket. You’ll like this cleaning solution. Streak free clean. Large bottle will last the average home owner about a year. Easy to use.

I am no professional window washer, but I am picky and have a perfectionist eye, lol. I mixed this according to the directions, used my window washer and squeegee (by the same brand if it matters to anyone) and it left all my windows spotless! I did both sides of glass panel french doors, a pair of 89"x60" sliding windows over my kitchen sink, and a standard glass sliding door on my sun room...took me only about 10 minutes (mostly because I am not used to using the squeegee techniques I have begun using thanks to some helpful youtube videos lol, or it would have been done much more quickly) With the exception of a small corner that I did not squeegee properly the first time, they all came out gleaming and streak free. Dried my squeegee and did a second pass on that spot and it was perfect. For the record, I have kids...so my glass gets odd things stuck to it, lol...like peanut butter...etc. lol (for some reason my youngest son thinks walls, chairs, etc. are acceptable surfaces to wipe his hands) None the less, it removed all of the oddities with ease. In fact, they were so perfectly clean that my 13 year old ran into the sliding door thinking it was open, lol, thankfully not seriously injured...just a numb nose for a few minutes. Really do not know what more you could want out of a cleaner... I am really uncertain why anyone would have a problem with this product at all as I did not see any of the streak issues some others claimed, maybe they mixed too strong? The products recommended by the professional that did not like this product were VERY pricey...I did look, as I started to follow his recommendation. I started not to buy this because of some of the reviews, including his...but gave it a shot anyway because a lot of other people did seem to like it and I got it pretty cheap as an Amazon Add On. Glad I did...I am very happy with the way it performed and I will buy this again.

Previously, we have cleaned glass with windshield washer fluid. It's cheap and it's ok as a window cleaner. But I have several "Canine Kids" who love to put nose prints on my doors and windows and the windshield washer fluid won't clean the prints off without scrubbing. When I wash windows, I have always used a professional window cleaning set of tools with the scrubber and the squeegee. Add in this Ettore cleaning CONCENTRATE and now its possible to get a really clean window. Two tablespoons of this solution in a gallon of water and WOW, what a difference. Not only does this cleaner really do a nice job on the windows, it also leaves them shiny and they are easier to clean since since this product is designed to make window washing more efficient. I know I will use this product from now on.......It made window cleaning easier. I wouldn't say it made the process "enjoyable", let's just say it's much more tolerable.

Maybe I got a bad bottle but mine leaked so bad that I had to make sure it was always standing straight up. Loaned my window kit to a friend (who didn't end up using it) and forgot to warn them. When I got it back the bottle was on its side and empty. You can see in the pic the label soaked a bunch of it up. Never had an issue with it as far as cleaning. Works great.
