I own a Honda Pilot and this mesh fits perfectly over my oversized sunroof. The magnetic strips that goes around the entire perimeter of the mesh are more than strong enough to keep the mesh down and keep mosquitoes, flies, gnats and bugs out. This breathable mesh for your car sunroof is actually the best that is on the market right now. It allows for great airflow, it is UV treated and keeps the sun out, and it is a must-have for anyone boon docking or camping in their car. We have a tent that fits on the back of our SUV that has an open mesh, but you have to have the sunroof open for good circulation so this mesh is perfect. Now for the ridiculous, can you drive on the freeway with this on your sunroof? No. This breathable mesh is for when you are parked. It is not permanently stuck to your car! Will this keep a mountain lion from getting into your car? No, nor raccoons. This sunshield/mesh is designed to keep bugs out, the sun out, and give you ventilation. Very impressed with the double and triple stitching that goes around the entire perimeter that holds the magnets in place. It does come with a very nice storage bag for it, and then the mesh folds up and fits back into nicely. Make sure that you measure your sunroof before ordering one because there are different sizes. I highly recommend this mesh not just for camping, but for many other things as well.

Perfect if you sleep in your rig! Vents heat,provides fresh air circulation and keeps the bugs out. Materials are of good quality and has held up well over heavy usage. Roll it up and store it quickly and easily,takes up very little space.

Easy to open, easy to close and put back in the bag. Just pay attention to the way it was packed in the factory, fold in half lengthways, perform a 180 degree twist lengthwise, fold in half on the short axis, and then allow the magnets to come together in a single bundle, grab the remaining fabric and put in the bag. Easy. This screen is actually 2 inch to long for my moon roof, as i have a factory rack up there. So i just folded the short end magnet strips back over itself, and it still clamps well to the metal, while keeping a decent seal against the roof. If you folded it the other way (with the magnets underneath the mesh fold), there would be a gap at the corners which the bugs could get in if there was a breeze. For the money this is a decent solution to having a breeze in the car when it is dark. As it states in the description, do not use while driving .... It will fly off, the magnets are nowhere near strong enough for that kind of thing.

Very good. Simple. Inexpensive. I like to leave my sunroof 1/2 open sometimes to air out the car in my spot. Great for that. Fits well. Super easy to attach. Protected magnets. I can’t believe people are complaining that they don’t stay on when you drive on the freeway. THEY ARE NOT FOR DRIVING. THEY ARE FOR CAMPING. How much larger does the warning print need to be? I did leave it on by mistake to go to the local grocery store but I was going a short distance and slow. It was fine. No drama. It was very happy up there doing its job anyway.

Reading some of the other reviews gave me a chuckle - this is not for use while the car is in motion, ya walnuts. This is so you can open your sunroof and keep the bugs out while the car is parked - car camping, at the drive-in, etc. The shade is well made, does exactly what it says it will, and is easy to use and roll up and put back in its little storage bag. Remove it and put it away before you drive off. *eye roll* :)

Zero stars. It flew off my car the first time I used it. Here are some other complaints. If any of you readers suffered property loss or physical medical loss, contact me. Magnets not being strong enough: Some users have found that the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the shade securely, particularly at higher speeds or in windy conditions. Magnets not being magnetic at all: In one instance, a customer reported that the magnets on their shade were completely non-magnetic and caused the shade to fall down easily. Shade detaching or falling down during driving: Users have reported the shades not staying on while driving at highway speeds or falling down when the rear windows are open. Shifting magnets: One user mentioned that the magnets shifted within their channels, making it difficult to properly place the shade. Magnets scratching the car paint: A user who had used magnetic sunshades on their windows for a short period reported that the magnets scratched the paint, potentially leading to rust.

When I order this Mesh Screen not knowing what its quality would be... It turn out to be a quality product that fit well on my Toyota Sienna. It should last for a very long time. I wonder how many people drove off forgetting that it was installed on the roof and it blew off their Van/Minivan. It is very obvious that you can not drive with it installed. It makes for a very big Kite that will be launched in any breeze. Sun can get really hot during the day it; this is needed.

This was so great that I wish I could always leave it on. Perfect fit for the Rav. With the window socks and this sunroof screen on my cat slept peacefully in the sun on her pillow. I was car camping so it was good that it wasn’t stifling hot in the car when it was parked. Didn’t need a fan as the breeze through the windows moved the air up and out the sunroof nicely. Good product. Highly recommend!

Strong magnet. Bought to keep birds off sunroof but now can keep window open with no wind for puppy travels.

The magnetic strips could be a lot stronger, but it does the job of keeping out insect life.
