Wonderful for garage to move air around.

I purchased two of this exact fan seven years ago. Love them so much that I purchased another for my screened/covered porch (out of the elements). This fan is top quality and a great value for the money. It only went up $10 in cost from seven years ago. The high quality is just as good today. Extremely easy to install. I opted for only one screw as I wanted to tilt and rotate the fan. I simply added a flat head washer on each side of the mounting bracket. The fan is extremely stable and the noise level is not overwhelming even on high. I highly recommend this fan.

Moves a lot of air, works well in barn stalls to reduce the heat. Also, delivery was exactly as promised.

Very Nice fan. I'm good with everything except I wish low speed was a little lower/less noise. Its not bad. I'm using in smaller room, (12x13) well not a shop for instance, I would like to dial it down just a little lower. I've tried controllers but that creates more noise. (Motor noise). For a bigger room or shop this wouldn't be a concern. I purchased because this was one of the best options for a fan you can hang (ceiling or wall) that i found. Its metal with industrial quality looks and what i hope is industrial quality reliability. We will know with time how the quality works out. The reviews on plastic oscillating fans is horrible so i stayed away from that. This fan seemed the best option for indirect fanning since its not oscillating. Oscillating would be nice but its tough to find reliability with this kind of pricing. This fan is a great value if it works for a couple years or more and should. Its a keeper. Update: year later works great !

My garage gets pretty hot in summer and this fan helps reduce temps by around 20f. I open garage door and it pushes hot air out. It also swivels. I have it positioned vertically as you can see from photo, as I prefer a left to right swivel over an up and down. Great fan

The fan is easy to mount, built very well. I tested it in my garage first. The flow pattern is very direct. From 10 feet away the air feels about 3 feet wide. From 15 feet it feels about a 4 foot air flow pattern. My hanging flag was moving in the garage about 28 feet away on all 3 settings. Directions says it has overload protection shut off. I would assume that means if the motor gets too hot it will shut off. Mine is going in the attic before the air vent. I will direct it to the hot air dead spot I have there. I have an exhaust gable fan and 2 turbines on my roof. The fan seems to be pretty well balanced with 3 settings. The motor casing looks well built. I will update review again months later. 8/20 update. Fan still works good. It is in the Attic and is pretty quiet. The motor does get a bit hot. I guess this is normal but I use it at 2 hour intervals to be fire safe. The balance is still good with no wobble.

The 18” fans are great. 3 speeds. Quiet. Excellent velocity. I have three of them. The only thing that I do not like is the one year warranty. No problem with the length of warranty though. I had one fan quit working. I contacted seller for replacement. Turns out you have to completely disassemble the fan and return, at your expense, only the motor. Not worth that trouble or expense and then have to wait for a replacement. Fans are 5 stars unless they stop working.
