I was searching high and low for 100% blackout curtains. I tried a few other brands but ended up returning them because they were only about 80% blackout. My partner is extremely sensitive to light at night and he wants the room to look like an absolute cave. Of course, I wanted curtains that were stylish and elevated. I looked everywhere for emerald green blackout curtains and am so happy I came across these. They are so velvety and beautiful.

TLDR: I needed to reduce a serious draft in my apartment in a way that was also stylish. This checks both of those boxes. I got the green velvet curtains, 82" length. The color basically matches that of the photo.Deep DiveTo start, I live in a very old apartment. When you open the door you immediately enter the living room, where a small sun room is to the left filled with windows. There is no door separating the two spaces. I have had such an issue with energy efficiency because of the significant cold drafts in the winter and heat waves in the summer.I wanted to get curtains to separate the two rooms to both make my space look better and provide additional insulation from the outside environment. These curtains DID IT. I ordered the green velvet curtains, and I love them. They do an incredible job separating the two rooms not only visually, but thermally. If I open my curtain to enter my small sun room from my living, I immediately feel a distinct difference in temperature. My space looks nicer and is more comfortable. I appreciate that the curtains come with tie-backs, but I do not use them. As a poor graduate student, I initially tried looking for the cheapest velvet curtains I could find. These are a great price for the quality, and I am so glad I purchased them.

OK I’m not sure what happened but my product is nothing like what was described or pictured.based on the other reviews I was really certain that these were going to be great while the material and quality of the item is actually really great and really soft it is extremely thin nothing about the item I received was black out . unfortunately I probably could’ve just saved a lot more money if I would’ve just bought the Amazon black out curtains but I wanted to give this a try. because of the ratings and the quality and the material that was being advertised. I know the window blinds are completely open but this is a test that I do to actually see how “black out” it really is and even when they are close as it will not do much compared to the other black out curtains I have it should not allow this much light and again these curtains are not thick or at all .

I bought these for my wife because we both work from 1-10 pm, and the moment the sun comes up she is wide awake, so I bought these on a whim just to see if they would work, and they are legit. It is like a cave in our condo. You would not know what time it is inside with these curtains drawn. Also, they are really soft (and kinda heavy for curtains, but a normal $16 curtain rod from walmart held them). Also, the curtains they replaced were those eclipse 100% blackout curtains from walmart (they DON'T work, my wife bitched about them FOREVER.). I got the gray curtains, and I'd do it again. My wife calls them fancy. 11/10.

*Update!I wanted to love these bc they looked nice & I love the copper rings instead of pewter, but I ordered them twice & each time the wrong size. They were labeled correctly, 52x96 but when you opened them they were 63 long. So. I had to return. Must just be a labeling error! If they get it fixed I’d try it again but after 2 failed attempts, I’m looking elsewhere.*after the seller contacted me, it was just a labeling error. They have since sent me the correct size & they are beautiful! I am so pleased with how they look In our bedroom. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

I absolutely love these curtains! The green is so rich! They come with ties which I have already put to use. I love that they are blackout curtains! They are good quality, no issues with loose threads. Definitely worth the money. Would recommend.

I love these curtains! I wish they were cheaper so I could buy more for my living-room. The green is gorgeous and it blocks out the sun well on those weekend morning you don’t want to get up. So glad I bought two sets of them.
