If i could, i'd replace all my furniture with this piece. So comfortable and soft. The delivery persons ripped my door jam off when they delivered it and they're not owning up to their bumbling .... but that has nothing to do with the recliner. it's great!

We have a handicapped adult son who sits with my husband in a chair and a half prior to going to bed. Bought this as a replacement for our current chair. Perfect size, very soft and comfortable. It has been extremely hard to find a chair that is wide enough in the seat. This one is perfect.

As a professional product reviewer, and an avid Amazon purchaser, it always pains me to have to write a poor review for a product. Here is a product summary of my reasoning:THE GOOD=> The remote recline works file. However, it's fairly new so I cannot speak to the longevity of this aspect.=> It is very wide and ideal for someone who needs a bit more room (like to fit the dog who just has to sit on your lap - LOL!).=> I'm fairly tall (5'9") and when I sit in the chair my feet almost didn't touch the ground! (That's never happened.) This is fine by me as it makes getting up and out of it easy. If you're shorter, be prepared to have your feet dangling a bit (which is not a reason not to buy this).=> The chair material itself is nice....although the pattern somewhat went away in the spots that are used the most. If you want a piece that looks 100% all the time, I don't think you'll be happy.=> You really have to push down to get the back onto the base. (Recliners come in 2 pieces in case you didn't know that.) This probably isn't a deal breaker for a purchase decision.THE NOT SO GOOD :(=> After only a few months, the seat is starting to lose some height. With the seat going down, the back and seat cushions are out of proportion, and the wood can be felt right in the lower back. Not good. Because I don't want to hassle with sending this back, I have just used a small pillow to keep the wood away from my back. <==> When putting the foot rest down, it doesn't always close tightly. Then, when you stand up, it clicks into place. I'm guessing this is because the foot rest must be a little out of alignment, which I would not expect to happen in a few months. <=I'm giving it 2 stars because of the quality discrepancies. *IF* you want something to put in a guest room or that won't get a lot of use, I think this is a good choice because it does look nice, is comfortable, and a good price. But, for day-to-day usage, I cannot recommend it.

1st day of owning. So far im happy. It only needs to be 2 or 3 inches from the wall to recline. It's a good size but no way would this hold 2 adults like someone else claimed. It fits me and my 4 year old granddaughter.

Chair is very comfortable . I am 5'9 and my feet do hang over so if you are a tall person this is not the chair for you. For me it works great.

The first chair broke in less than a month. Got a replacement chair and now the power wire was actually severed by the chair when reclining it. Both chairs made a god-awful noise when it would recline. Not very comfortable as you can feel the wood, especially in the lumbar area. I do not recommend this chair.

I had to have this delivered twice because the first time it had been dropped in shipping and the chair was destroyed and out of balance. Second arrived OK, but with some small scuff damage to the top (not a huge deal). Bigger deal is that after around two weeks the seam at the foot of the chair has split exposing the frame and stuffing - two weeks! For the price and brand name I would expect much better. I think I'm done trying to buy Amazon furniture.
