Great bag. Way better than the red one.
When this bag arrived, I was like "oh no, my car seat will not fit." Take a look at the shape of the bag and make sure you have the car seat shape aligned with the shape of the bag. My car seat fit great and by the end of the trip we were putting it into and out of this bag with ease on the curbside next to a taxi. The bag is really easy to carry as shown in the photo, but it is not easy to attach to a rolling suitcase or stack on top of a luggage cart, etc. That said, we did both of those things with it at different times in our trip. The only problem with using this bag is that it took a long time for them to bring the car seat to the gate (every time on our multi-leg trip). They did not recognize it as a gate-checked item so we had to send someone to look for it ever time. Once, it even got put through to the checked luggage area. It was not a problem because the car seat was totally protected in this nice bag. In hind sight I might have asked for two or three extra of the fluorescent "gate check" tags so they would be more likely to find it. In Australia, they do not gate check car seats, but they do have some strict weight limits for your other luggage. We used the car seat bag to stash a heavy shoe bag for one leg of the trip since there was no limit to how much the car seat could weigh.

Quick easy car seat bag for traveling
I wanted something that could be shoved in a bag if we didn’t end up needing it during flights. This served its purpose well, was easy to use, and held up so far when we did need to use it. We checked the car seat in the bag at the gate and weren’t worried about it needing any padding. I like that it’ll fit the bucket seat for while they’re small and the larger one when they grow.

Nice quality for the price
We paid a hefty price tag for our McClaren umbrella stroller. We were not interested in paying that much again if a baggage handler were to damage our stroller on our upcoming vacation. We ordered this stroller bag and it came yesterday. The material is more heavy-duty than I expected and the padding in the end for the wheels is very thick. It seems like it will be a durable and protective bag. And I thought the price was extremely reasonable after seeing how nice the bag is. After seeing it, I would have gladly paid more for such a nicely made product. If we have any problems after traveling with it, I will update, but I do not expect that will be the case. I would definitely recommend this bag if you have an umbrella stroller worth protecting.

Worth the $ to protect your stroller
I purchased this stroller bag to protect my brand new Chicco LiteWay (which, by the way, I also ordered from Amazon) during our first flight with my 8-month old son. It worked exactly how we needed it to: when we pushed baby boy in the airport it was tucked up underneath in the storage area and protected the stroller when gate-checked. When one flight was delayed causing a mad dash through the airport to our connecting flight, it was easy for my hubby to carry over his shoulder while I carried the baby. My stroller came out perfectly unscathed! A few things to note: 1) since the LiteWay is on the longer side, it was a tight squeeze to get into the bag but it DOES fit. 2) After 4 flights, the bag has some visible wear and tear (where the baggage guys clearly didn't care about how they handled my stuff) but that's the point of the bag! To protect the stroller, not necessarily to look pristine. 3) When my husband went to get our luggage while I waited on the stroller, I had to hold the baby and unpack the stroller. I was unable to do this with one hand. Keep this in mind when traveling solo. 4) The only change I would make is that it say "gate check" on the bag somewhere. On 2 out of 4 flights, the pilot (yes, pilot!) saw us waiting by the gate check door and went to find our stroller. They said since its black and plain, the attendants didn't even notice the tiny pink airline ticket to indicate it was a gate check item. Overall, this bag is well worth the price! I am very happy with this product!

JL Childress Padded Umbrella Stroller Travel Bag.
I recently bought a McLaren Volo Dylan's Candy umbrella stroller for my grand daughter, Sophie (2-1/2) who travels with her mom quite a bit, and we'd like to protect the stroller as much as we can so it will last longer. I looked at various stroller travel bags and found that the JL Childress umbrella stroller travel bag is the best one. The stroller fits inside the padded travel bag nicely with some room left so you can store other items i.e. toys, rain shield etc. It's light, has a handle and fold neatly into square so you can store inside a bag pack until you have to pull out at the jet bridge for the stroller. The best part is the price, under $30 for something so well made. Any parents with nice expensive umbrella strollers who travel a lot with their todders should get one to protect your stroller from wear and tear, worth the purchase!

Fell apart after first use
We purchased this bag for our Chicco umbrella stroller before our recent trip to Hawaii. We were happy with the bag quality when we first placed the stroller inside, it seemed sturdy and a thick enough fabric to endure air transport. Well, we were very disappointed. We gate checked our stroller in this bag and when we got it back one of the straps was almost totally unstitched. We carried it to our next gate for our next flight, and the second handle strap started to come unstitched a well. Clearly the first occur acne wasn't due to rough handling. A few minutes later, the shoulder strap came completely undone too. Honestly, we laughed about it because it was that bad. We were still happy to have something to cover the stroller in transit, so we kept it on, but had to bear hug it to carry it. When packing it up for the return flight, the zipper pull flew off. Ridiculous. We never noticed that it was poorly sewn until we were out of luck. We just threw it away...it just wasn't worth the hassle. Unfortunately, a total waste of money.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

After having done a couple of trips where I had hired car seats and then spent our holiday constantly reaching back to correct head slump, I decided to take our own car seats with us this time and wanted an easy solution to pack and carry the car seats from car to airport terminal and airport terminal to car. I purchased two of these as car seat bags and in the mayhem of leaving for the airport I left one at home so we travelled with just one. Having one car seat bagged and the other wrapped in the plastic bags provided by the airline, I can honestly tell you that this bag made travel more easier and I constantly mentioned to hubby that I wish we had both bags with us. Out of the car and into the bag was a quick and easy process, just pop it in and do up the zip and carrying the car seat on my shoulder whilst pushing a luggage trolley was so convenient. Handling the car seat was a lot easier too with the shoulder straps and carry handle. When the car seats were in our rental car the bag could be tucked away leaving room for all of our luggage. Needless to say that next time we travel I will be triple checking that both bags are packed so that taking car seats with us on holidays is a complete breeze.

We used this for my son's high-back booster, which is pretty lightweight, on a recent flight. I have no complaints! It kept our seat from getting dirty or damaged and was easy to carry. I suspect it would be a bit heavy on the shoulder for a big convertible seat.

This is a great bag, it fit our booster seat and infant car seat together on a long haul flight from London to Sydney. It's not padded but the material is strong and it's well made. The bag and seats were intact on arrival and it was easy to carry. Ask your airline to check the seats as large baggage so they sit on top in the hold. Also as a side this bag fits Baby Jogger City Mini with wheels removed.
