Plastic Bottle Crusher for Recycling Aluminum Cans Soda Beer Plastic Bottles, Eco-Friendly Recycle Tool Can Crusher (Pink)

 Almost all of the can crushers attach to a wall. I have no place to do so, so I looked for a freestanding can crusher. This was the only one that I found. There was very little detail on how it worked, but I took a chance. The shipping of about $8 was a bit stiff, but it came from Israel, even though it is an Italian product. I opened the shipping box and it contained just the crusher with a cardboard wrapper that had the directions printed on the inside. Following the directions, I was able to crush both plastic bottles & soda cans with very little effort. Although the crushed cans were not as flat as the wall mounted crushers make them, they do save space and I can collect them to take to the can recycle location in our community.

The best way I can think of describing the job this crusher does is basically if you were to step on a bottle or can or perhaps tried to squish one when you were in a bad mood. The crushing is very incomplete. The finished product will not be a can or bottle pushed down all the way in a circle. Sometimes after you try to crush a water bottle, the top part that is supposed to stick out, is stuck inside the top part of the tube and it’s annoying to try to get it out. What’s even more strange is that before you push down to crush a can, you’re supposed to put a dent in the can. I’m really not that strong, but this crusher isn’t great either.

Perfect when you don't have space for a wall mounted one. Does a great job of crushing cans.

It is sold by Israeli First Aid & Shyh. Although it shows 3 colors, I did not have a choice. It said that it was blue, but the pink color is what arrived.

I’ve used it for pop and propel bottles.I’m not strong enough for thicker ones.But it makes bottles smaller so we can fit more into our recycle container.

I can crush a can better with my hands, bad purchase, not happy!
