Super easy installation
Perfect fit for the 14" Makita chop saw.

Perfect brushes, good design for initial contact area.
I'm not entirely sure what you can say about a stock motor brush . . . but these were perfect. They fit exactly, worked perfectly, and actually have a bit of a beveled edge to make the initial point smaller (so that it makes better contact and wears into shape more quickly). If it was totally flat it would make contact over a much smaller area.

Sharper than the Knock-Off's
The blades that had somehow made it onto my 1900b Makita Planer were not cutting as I remembered they should... there was no damage to them, they were just dull. I ordered these new Makita blades and they are different than the blades that were installed.. I expect them to hold up like they always did (until they shatter when I hit a nail) ..

DIY fix for Makita LS1013
