I loved this book since I received it. Beautiful hard cover, high quality images and lots of words and phrases. Just one thing to highlight for new buyers, you will find many words or phrases using a combination of kana and kanji, do not expect the book to be wholly written in kana. But there's the fun, you will learn the real life japanese, not the theoretical hiragana only.

This is an excellent book with very relevant real-use vocabulary. The print book is wonderful. However, the Kindle version is sorely lacking in consistency in its images. Many are grainy and pixelated and some are adequate viewing size while other images are very tiny and become pixelated when magnified. That’s the main gripe. Otherwise content is very good!

Got this book for my girlfriend who is learning Japanese and this book is amazing and has alot of information and is not as big and heavy as we thought. The pages are nice the images are high quality and its very much worth the Price.
