Sit down and plan it out
So twi things when purchasing these.1. These are manufactured by Spyder and model number is 5011916.2. Toyota tacoma 2010 running lights only have 2 conductors so its easy to install. So i called spyder there in pst zone. They were helpful and answered my questions. However you install it be sure you pair red and white together, and all black wires together -so you should have two groups of wires. You’re splicing cables from the running lights. On my vehicle i have green and white & blue. White blue was negative for me. I did switch around to find out.I used lever nuts and solder which all worked. If you want to test twist the conductors together and test on the car battery. Leds are 12v so you can test the headlights before fully installing them. I love the look and look bright but the LED are not that bright but do the job of running lights. They look the same from the pictures. I would buy from the seller cheaper than most from others out here on amazon. Don’t buy stock ones but these. Either from here or spyder. Hope it helped.

Bright and stylish !
I had bought another cheap pair months ago and the light output was dismal and scattered.I popped these in after wiring all hots and grounds to the parking light wires, and turned them on. Ten times better light output !And they are adjustable. I still have to tweak the horizontal, but vertical is perfect. They don't blind everyone else and I can see in the morning at 3:30AM when I go to work. The high beams are astonishing ! Awesome upgrade and the halos and LEDs make them even better !

Perfect fit for 2006
Bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband & they fit perfectly! I was nervous about buying them since I couldn't physically see it in place before buying but they're perfect & I love the blacked out look, they match with the taillights we already had installed.

Great headlights
These headlights look great, and also put out great light. This is the second aftermarket pair of headlights that I’ve put in my 2011 Toyota Tacoma. I poured about half a gallon of water out of the last pair, which is why this time I reinforced the seams with synthetic silicone. Wiring isn’t too difficult, but takes some splicing to wire the LED lights. Simply splice the wires to the positive and negative wires for the parking lights (top, outside corner light). I spliced all the LED wires to the parking light in one big connection, but suspect a daisy chain may have been cleaner. If I was to do it again, I would cut away the excess LED wire length as to avoid the rats nest of excess length that I was left with. Following install, adjusting the lights was straightforward with lots of room for adjustment provided.

Look great, factory seals are questionable but fixable
I put an extra bead of clear silicone on the seams before install to be safe, and they still immediately got condensation after a very gentle self car wash the next day. EDIT : I put another thick bead across the top while they were installed and haven’t had any more condensation issues !! I love how they look vs my foggy stock lights which many 2nd gen Tacoma’s have now . I wish the stock wiring harness plugged straight in instead of dangled but other than that I’m happy with them. I did not wire in the extra LEDs, they aren’t really my style so I can’t attest to how they work. I have good visibility with the low and hi beams, and turn signals and marker lights still work fine. They are great for the price now that I sorted them out

Not That Difficult
Almost didn't buy due to the consistent comments about how hard they are to install. "Need to be an electrician", "Mechanic couldn't figure it out".I am NOT an electrician or a mechanic. Just use the keep it simple stupid principal.Buy some female and male disconnects as well as a pack of quick splice connectors. Not only will it make this a lot easier, vehicle will be pre-wired for future light changes or if you have to remove these for any reason (no cutting wires or removing tape later).Trim wires by about 6" and keep the trimmed pieces to use for pig tails. Connect all black wires together with one male connector and all other (white and red) wires together with another male connector, crimp and tape.Attach the thicker white and black trimmed wires to a female connector to create pig tail, crimp and tape.Connect a quick connecter to the green (hot) wire on the DTRL connecter with the white pigtail and one one the white (ground) wire with the black pigtail.Install the light as you normally would and then just connect the black connected wires to the black pigtail coming from the DTRL and the red and white connected wires to the white pigtail and you are done. You can pre-wire everything before you even take the old lights out.Really easy with this method. See pics.

Really Good Value
I wanted to spruce up my 10 year old 2010 Tacoma. Just compounded the paint and looking for new lights.I ordered these Acanii headlights. It looks just like the Spyder PRO-YD-TT05-HL-BK that I had looked at on two other sites. I had planned to use a automotive products website because of the technical support, but after chatting with two sites, I realized that their service was very sub standard (they were delberts).I ordered these Acanii lights and received the Spyder PRO-YD-TT05-HL-BK lights!$139 compared to $195 on the "other sites". The warranty is 60 days on Amazon compared to 1 year on the "other sites".Installation was easier than re-installing the original headlights. I did break some of the plastic Toyota clips and will need to replace them, so it would be a good idea to buy them in advance. Wiring was pretty straight forward wiring the led's and halo's to the parking lights.I did ask the question here if the daytime running lights could be still used and YES, they still function.Just installed them and they look super! Haven't adjusted yet, but so far, very happy with the look and the purchase!
