These are good general purpose couch covers, especially for those of us with pets.About me, leather sofa, leather love seat, 1 cat, 4 dogs, one of which is a senior with pretty serious incontinence issues. In an effort to save my furniture and my sanity, I bought a couple of these.I'm not sure I would consider it "100% water proof", more water resistant but this will definitely protect your couch from the occasional minor spill or accident. These are reasonably priced and do a good job protecting your furniture so long as you measure your furniture to get the correct size and not expect them to be totally water proof. ***we have found that pairing this with a reusable potty pad has been the most effective means to protect our furniture from our senior girl's bladder leaks.The will likely require daily "straightening" or adjusting, to keep it looking tidy, don't be a lazy turd, just do it and don't come here and write a poor review about how they "don't stay in place".I've not experienced any issues with the rubber "grips" on the back side of this causing any problems with my leather furniture. Our furniture is real leather, not faux, so that may be the difference.The largest sofa sized cover fits in our washing machine, without issue. If you have pets, I strongly recommend running a lint roller over before putting it in the wash to help de-hair it. I dry ours on a drying rack rather than in the dryer, in hopes of prolonging the water resistance feature.I think arm covers are under appreciated, they've helped to minimize scratches (from claws) on the arms of the furniture. They also have pockets in them, great for stashing remotes, your phone, etc. In our house one of the dogs likes to "hide" her bones in them.

I really like this recliner cover. It has a lot of pockets (6) to be exact. Their are little rubber grips on the back side so it doesnt slip but the back still finds its way down somehow, they have put a stretchy piece around the back part to keep it from slipping and with the rubber grips you know they put alot of planning into it trying to keep it from slipping down, it doesn't slip much at all but after sitting a few times you need to do a fast re-adjustment and its an easy fix. Ive never found any type of covering that doesn't slip at some point. This one just might be the best of the ones ive used. I wouldnt let it stop you from getting it because its very nicely made, pretty thick materials and with all the pockets and only slight slipping its super worth the money for sure.

Purchased to keep my dog from wrecking my new couch (and loveseat - we bought two of these in different sizes) It's durable, has the anti-skid which works and keep it in place, since we have leather, and is worth the money. It's a definite upgrade from the blanket we were using before. If you need a decent cover I'd get it.

Not only does this cover match my chair perfectly, but it feels very comfortable! My recliner is a smaller one so the cover is very large. I tucked in the excess, folded the arm parts in (didnt plan to use the remote pockets anyway) and knotted the side elastic. It's very easy to put on and take off. This is going to be a lifesaver because my pets have made the recliner permanently stained and Im about to have a baby making messes too. Very happy with this product. I ordered a second on grey for my glider i got for Christmas too!

We've ordered this item twice. The first time, we ordered two. They came fast and were exactly what we wanted. The second time, we needed one more. It came, but the lining was a different color and the quality was lower. We asked the supplier and they let us return it for a replacement.The actual covers are good as long as you get the ones that have the slip resistant liner on the side touching your furniture. They fit perfectly on the overstuffed recliners, but is really large on the regular chair. They wash easily. We didn't see any pilling or seams coming loose. We're using these over leather furniture because animals sleep on them. They do collect a lot of hair, but that comes off with a lint roller, rubbing across the surface with slightly damps hands or a vacuum. We are pleased enough that we may buy the sofa sized cover next.

Happy with fit and the color is just fine coordinating with other blues in our RV. My sofa does not have arms (large pillows instead). I just folded the arm covers under and can't see that trick at all. Also, it has a different backing which I have had no sliding around. I also like the quilting design. Totally satisfied.

These are wonderful! Haven't had to test the waterproofness yet but they were perfect size and look nice. My only complaint is the gray is more of a blue color. I highly recommend!

I put this is over my massage chair-recliner. My cats jump up onto the arms of the chair so it has pin holes covering both arms. I waited too long to order this because I didn't think it would fit properly, but I was wrong. I fits just fine. I use a tape roller for the cat hair and it's clean.
