Took this clock on our recent trip-international hotels and cruise ships do not have clocks in the rooms. This clock was perfect. The numbers are big and can be seen during the day and night. The clock uses D batteries, so no problems with taking it onto a cruise ship. Highly recommend..

I was planning on writing a review once the batteries finally died, two D sized batteries, which I assumed would've happened within a year of purchase.Two years and two months later, the clock finally quit. I used the brand of batteries that we all know by name that starts with a "D" for the record.I remember it taking a long time for me to find this product; I needed a NON-plug-in type of digital clock for a small room.Finally found this one, and it fit what I needed perfectly: good sized red numbers on a black background that I could hopefully see during the day without the plug-in power.It was perfect size and as long as it's not in direct sunlight, can easily read it on sunny days in a moderately shaded room. Could likely see it in a full sun room but would need to have it closer and obviously not in direct sunlight.Funny thing, I found out only when I just replaced the batteries that it apparently has three brightness settings, tho is still hard to tell (possibly only two settings). I *may* have had it set to a lower brightness this whole time, hence the batteries lasting full two years......with only ONE time that I had to advance the clock a minute to catch up.So it lost only just over a minute during the two years. And for the last month, it finally peetered out by having the display get more and more dim until there was finally no display.Changed the batteries, set to highest bright setting, and it's great again.It'll go down in Amazon buying history as a "top-ten-percentile best-products" list for me. It's so difficult to find the red/black clocks that are battery powered at this size and can readily be seen in most lighting conditions. A useful, helpful, and long-lasting product at a reasonable price; not inexpensive, but fairly priced based on lack of this specific type of product on the market (battery powered and good size/colors).Over two years later, very happy, great product. Would buy again in a second, and will in the near future when I move and need another clock for another room.Huge cheers!

Been using it for about a month and so far, it keeps accurate time. The display is large enough for seniors and the brightness is very good. The brightness is also adjustable. You can hang it on the wall or set it on a table. There are 2 plastic legs you can pop out to make it stand on its own. However, the legs are very flimsy and may break off in the future. I have the black one and there is the white company logo on the front, right side where everyone can see it; it does not look good, so I have used a black marker to cover up the logo. My other complaint is for the $25.00 price, they should include batteries with it. If you need a big display and do not mind the high price, then you should look at this clock.

I needed a clock with large enough numbers to see easily in the dark. This clock is pretty basic - it has huge numbers against a nice looking black background that can sit on a desk or be hung on the wall. We placed ours on the wall, it looks great and while the numbers are bright, it doesn't disturb or interfere with your sleep. I am very pleased with it.

perfect for desk top or wall. I change the battery about once a year. i use them as wall clocks. I am able to see the time at night without having to turn on bright lights. the large numbers help me see the time from a distance.

The red numbers make this the perfect digital night time clock. Numbers easy to read. Hung mine on the bedroom walI so I can easily look up and see the time at night. The red lighting just blends well with the dark room.Easy to set time, etc.You can see the clock in daylight, but understand, it is not a digital clock made for super bright rooms. Great night clock.Bought two.

The KWANWA Alarm Clock is decent but has a few shortcomings. The 3" LED display is bright and easy to read, but the lack of adjustable brightness can be an issue, especially at night when the display feels too harsh in a dark room. The clock is battery-operated, which makes it convenient for placement anywhere without worrying about cords, but it drains batteries faster than expected, which is a bit frustrating.In terms of design, it's simple and functional, but there are no frills like alarm customization or additional features. Overall, it's fine for basic timekeeping, but for the price, I expected a few more features or better battery efficiency. Would recommend only if you're looking for a basic, portable clock.
