Celadrin Joint Cream 4 fl oz (118 ml) Cream

I have used this product for years and feel it is the best. No burning like some other creams. It unlocks a painful muscle on contact, like for muscle strain/spasm or sleeping wrong. I purchase a container monthly due to my chronic crampy muscles. It always helps. Smells like peppermint, but the smell doesn't linger long. A little goes a long long way, so start small and work your way up to a larger amount. I usually buy at Swansonvitamins.com, but sometimes through Amazon.

I read that Celadrin cream could ease pain and stiffness of arthritis. I immediately researched Amazon.com (my favorite purveyor of fine goods) to see if they had a cream preparation of Celadrin on reading a publication written by the Cleveland Clinic. The title is "Arthritis Diagnosis & Treatments". The same organization puts out a monthly newsletter called "Arthritis Advisor". The comment appears on page 39 of this publication in the third paragraph (Celadrin/Cetylated Fatty Acids). Researchers are unsure of the mechanism by which Cetylated Fatty Acids work, but they believe that Celadrin reduces chronic inflammation by reducing the release of immune system messengers interleukin-1 and leukotriene B4. I notice an improvement in both pain and in fluidity of movement with this product about 20 minutes to a half hour after massaging it into my knees. I certainly hope this review helps people to make up their minds about at least trying this reasonably priced product. It is pleasantly creamy with a light mint fragrance that does not scream "ARTHRITIS CREAM!" and is absorbed well and is not greasy. For what it's worth, I have an MS in Medical Biology, am retired from a Health Department and have an interest in a wide range of health topics.

My wife and I have used this for about four months now on our knees and lower back. It does help and makes life a bit easier. Like anything, what works for one may not work for all. Have a great day.

Very nice cream but very minty. If you like mint than you are in luck!

This product came very highly recommended by a family member but it didn't do much for my husband. I can't really say it's a bad product since it came so highly recommended. I guess that's just how it goes, some things work for some people and don't work for others.

Excellent pain relief as well as a very nice cream formula that spreads well, so you need less. Good price, too. I am a repeat buyer of this brand of Celadrin. It's a joint cream, but it's very reliable results for low back pain, too.
