This tool is a time saver. It allows you to hold the cam pulley so you can actually reach the torque value. Also, it helps hold everything stationary while you line up the marks while installing the timing belt. It may take you a time or two to position the tool so you still have room, but it's worth that very minor inconvenience.

Don't work harder, work smarter! Item worked wonders. Used this to hold timming gear steady on 2.0L 4 cylinder. Then I said man I'm never gonna use that again. 2 weeks later I used it to hold clutch on a GY6 buggy in place while I tightened the nut. Then the next week a flywheel on a BBC. Wondering why I never bought one sooner.

I have usually cobbled something together to accomplish what this tool does and that takes time. This tool was super easy to use for removing and installing cams. I'm a home mechanic and probably won't use it often but wow what a time-saver!

Worked great on replacing a broken timing belt and water pump on a 06 Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.4L engine. Made removing and torque down of the cam gears a breeze. I recommend this tool it seems to be of good quality and serves its purpose.

working on a 99 4runner SR5 v6. I know the torque specs on this are rated to about 95 foot lbs. and are usually torqued higher than that. the metal that is used is a cheap metal. It might work on a vehicle that has lower torque specs on the cam shafts. it just did not work for me.

Is ok tool economy price

Well worth the money.

Seems like it is build well. But id dose not work for my 2003 dogde dakota cam sprocket like it says it would.
