Great taste and texture!
I picked one of these up to add to my meals for a backpacking trip through the grand canyon. We spent 3 days down the inner corridor of the canyon with very little water and only a few of these dried meals. The Thai Curry was the only flavor I had from this brand, and I had a few other brands to kind of hedge my bet on which ones would be good. I must say that after trying all of the other brands I will most certainly come back to this one. They have truly figured out how to incorporate the correct texture, flavor, and consistency out of all of the brands I had. There was a slight heat to it... though I wouldn't call it spicy. This would be ideal for anyone looking to back pack while being conscious of their pack weight. Also, I should note that I let it sit for around 30 minutes after adding water while at around 5,000ft elevation and it came out PERFECT and still hot as hell without enclosing it in any kind of thermal insulator like others have suggested. I had to let it sit another 10 minutes before I could go from small bites of hot food to shoveling this into my gullet. Plenty of food for two in there, too!

Great for Camp
This is one of the best tasting dehydrated meals I have had, but it isn’t perfect for every scenario.ProsIt tastes greatClean ingredientsFillingFantastic for when you arrive at campConsRequires a relatively large amount of waterIt takes 20 minutes to rehydrateBottom line is if you have the time, it is well worth every penny and minute it takes to prepare. If you are looking for a quick bite along the trail or have to pack water into camp, it isn’t the best option.

Tasty but pricey
I enjoyed this, although it does use a lot of water, and it’s a bit pricey at $16. I would buy this again at $12-$13, but not $16.Peak Refuel uses much less water and costs less, with meat.

Delicious
This was the most delicious backpacking food I have ever eaten. I cannot wait to try all of their meal options! The rice rehydrated perfectly and the curry was better than a restaurant. Perfect ration size for a hungry man. Lightweight, durable, and the zip-lock allows the package to be reused to pack out trash.

Flavor was kind of strange. I cannot really describe it other than something seemed off. My friend who tasted it expressed the same thing.

Delicious, nutritious, filling.
Delicious and nutritious! You wouldn’t know it was dehydrated - it’s that good. Also, the ingredient list was full of healthy anti- inflammatory ingredients. Perfect for long days on the trail. It really feeds two people, I opened two bags for me and my two daughters, we ate our fill and had left overs.

A surprisingly good curry for a camping meal
If you enjoy a good thai curry and enjoy camping then why not tie those two together for a match made in heaven. This is a GREAT camping meal that is easy to prepare, absolutely delicious and extremely filling. You just add boiling water into the packet to the level indicated seal it up, and before you know it you have a nice hot curry to enjoy. So far the GOOD-TO-GO meals are a win for travelling with.

Fantastic
My absolute favorite meal from Good to Go. Full of flavor and spice and all good things. Perfect dinner for watching the sun go down over a high Sierra lake. A pro tip - after you have added the hot water to the pouch & sealed it, wrap it in an insulating layer while the meal rehydrates. The water looses heat quickly and if it's not insulated while it sits, you will be left with crunchy (albeit well seasoned) rice.
