These come protected from scratches by an easy to remove stick on paper. I like that with them being clear you can see your book covers which gives a very clean look. I think some users aren’t putting the flat section under/in toward the row of books. Done this way, these would definitely hold books vertically.

I bought these so I could use the whole shelf for books. They do the job well. They are somewhat 'bendy' but seem to work just fine. I will likely buy more of these.

I really like these because you barely see they are there! They are thick enough and strong enough, and high enough to hold back larger books. I'm very pleased with them.

We are using these to hold up Nintendo switch game boxes and various Playstation game boxes which aren't very heavy like books, so they're holding up well. We had a few that had small dents on the edges but not a big issue for us. DON'T FORGET TO PEEL OFF THE PROTECTIVE SCREEN. It's really stuck on there, so you'll need to pick at it for a little bit. Once you get one corner up though, they're really easy to come off. Overall, good product.

I use these to get another row of books on the top of my bookshelves, and they are perfect! Super sturdy and look really nice on my bookshelves. They're also flush with the end of the bookshelves, so you can go all the way out to the edge with your books. The clear design is also a plus; they look kind of invisible. I highly recommend these for your bookshelves or anywhere else you put your books.

They come cling wrapped so that needs to be removed before using if you want them to be clear! Very easy to get off, all mine luckily came in one piece, I saw some reviews saying some came broken but my box was very well handled! Works very well and a great addition to any shelf! (Doesn’t hold them up quite as tightly as I’d like but still VERY handy and I don’t mind it)

I almost didn't purchase these because soo many ppl were saying they were not clear. People!!! #1: Tear off the protective film #2: Notice that ALL 4 CORNERS have been nicely curved/beveled/sanded #3: Size. These can easily hold big hard cover books #4: Price. You get EIGHT for this price! For me, I consider them my 'raw stock'. I'll be triming and reshaping them, for use in my aquariums, to hold back gravel where I can have a clear & clean place to feed my fish. My bonus is that the 90° angles are already done for me. Putting a 90° on is NOT an easy process, so that's a big quality, time saving thing for me. My thanks to the manufacturer.

These are really nice acrylic bookends, exactly like you would expect to get from the description. Looks like the company decided to make their protective peel-off sheets opaque after all the negative customer reviews -- they were very obvious and easy to remove. All of my bookends were scratch-free. We decorated them for a tween birthday party and they looked really nice.

upper part of bookend is bended toward outside. It is inconvenient to use as bookend.

This book stander does its job well. Keeps books upright and steady. Doesn’t take up space or draw attention. The best part is the design. It almost disappears. Looks like the books are standing on their own. Great for shelves where you want a clean, uncluttered look. Simple tool, smart result.

I love these bookends! I wanted clear ones that don't stand out because I want my books to be the eye-catchers and these worked perfectly for me. They hold the books up, they don't fall off the sides of my shelf anymore. Would buy again!
