JJ ColeSatchel Diaper Bag, Navy Arbor

I settled on this bag during my search for a tote bag to carry my supplies for Nursing school clinicals. My requirements were: zippered main closure, lots of pockets/divided areas to organize my supplies, cute, easy to clean (since I'm bringing it into healthcare settings), big enough to carry everything I needed but not so big I felt like I was carrying a suitcase, and it had to be quality. This bag ... is just perfect.The material is thick and solid, the seams are secure, the zippers and hinges and such are all metal and very quality. The material wipes off easily and doesn't absorb spills, and I like that it has little metal nub things on the bottom to help elevate it a bit off the floor. The bottom does have a stiff material piece in to help it keep it's shape.The way the pockets are designed, when you fill the outermost pockets it does decrease a little from the space on the inside, they're made of stiff material not stretchy so they only go out so far before having to go in (if that makes sense). But they're big enough that it doesn't totally interfere with what's in the bag and you'd have to really pack them full to have functional trouble, I think.To give you an idea of storage space and how it can be used as a work/school bag, or something other than a diaper bag, here's what I carry in it:I keep a bottle of water in one of the side pockets (the bottle pocket). A lint roller in the other.The two very outside zipper pouches, I keep small personal items that would easily get lost elsewhere - my inhaler, a small bottle of ibuprofen, chap stick, a small tube of lotion and hand sanitizer, safety pins, and hair ties.The four outside open pockets I keep things I need to access frequently: A pencil case with various pens, permanent markers, highlighters, pencils, etc. Trauma scissors, roll of tape, pulse oximeter, pen lights, my badge, my drug book and clinical guide (a "pocket sized" but very thick book), and I drop my keys in one of these when I get out of my car.The interior contains a binder for my clinicals paperwork and whatever I might be studying at the time in case there's down time and my stethoscope in the main compartment, a full spare set of scrubs (because you never know when you're going to get puked on or something!) rolled up in one of the four elastic divided compartments, a scrub jacket in another one of them, feminine products in the 3rd, and a snack in the 4th. And if I need to, I can fit one text book in there, but I try not to do that.Everywhere I go, I get so many compliments on this bag. Only one person has asked me if it was a diaper bag, and I said yes without hesitation or embarrassment... I don't think it looks like an obvious diaper bag, and even if it does, it's cute and SO functional and quality that I don't even care!

I had been searching for the perfect diaper bag since I was pregnant with my son (who is 5 months old now.) I wanted a bag that had big enough compartments to carry all the baby's items from medicine to three sets of clothing. Plus I wanted to be able to put my belongings such as a wallet, iPad, phone, etc, and use it like a purse so I wouldn't have to carry more than one bag. The bags I really loved seemed to cost $150.00 and up. I couldn't justify spending that much on a diaper bag. I had one diaper bag but it didn't fit everything in it. I then started using an llbean deluxe size school bag until I found exactly what I was looking for. I told my family that the right diaper bag will just call out to me and I would only have eyes for that bag. (Haha, you ladies know what I'm talking about.) I started hearing heavenly music and saw floating hearts when I came across this bag. It was it was love at first sight. When I received this bag two days later, I grabbed the box and ripped it open, and fell back in love with this bag. I may have even hugged it for a bit.... THIS BAG DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. It's beautiful, stylish, well made, and has room for everything I need. It carries all the items that I had in the llbean deluxe school bag!!! It's so very stylish and so very perfect!!! I hardly ever leave reviews, but I just had to for this bag. If you are still deciding if you should get this bag, stop thinking about it and order it! This bag could be used for other purposes besides a diaper bag. I am forever in love with this bag! (I ordered the Navy Arbor)

I have 3 kids under 3 so I have carried a diaper bag constantly for the last 3 years. This is the third bag I've owned and I've found a winner! My favorite features are:1. Messenger strap - this allows me to easily carry the bag hands free while I'm holding kids hands or carrying things too and from the car. A definite must for me.2. Lots of pockets - both interior and exterior. I like lots of exterior pockets for sippy cups, my phone and keys, binkies, etc. things I want to access quickly. Lots of interior pockets to organize diapers, wipes, snacks, etc. this bag delivers on both fronts.3. Wide vs. deep. I find that deep diaper bags tend to become a bottomless pit where things get lost - this bag is long not deep and keeps things more accessible.4. Roomy but not bulky. You can fit a LOT in this bag, but when I wear it I don't feel like its so bulky that I'll take out anyone I walk past.5. Colorful lining - black lining is another recipe for lost items in the bag - my bag came with green lining so it's easy to see what's inside.6. Stroller grips. I love the JJ Cole stroller grips - they stay in place and its very easy to attach or remove the bag.7. Pattern. It doesn't hurt that the bag is so cute. I want to carry it even when I go out without my kids!So far no complaints here!

I love this thing, it has pockets everywhere, and the pattern is sufficiently neutral that I can still use it after the kid gets older. It came with stroller straps so you can hang it from the back of the stroller, and every mom who sees them thinks they're awesome.

I love this bag! I wanted something thats not too big, yet fits all my baby's stuff nicely. Looks great as well.

Great diaper bag

Very beautiful diaper bag. Watched many reviews and I wanted to have it. For my every day out it has the perfect size, although I am an overpacker. The bag alone is very light but the fabric looks robust and is easy to clean. Definitely gonna last a long time.
