Best bang for your buck ultra cool and compact utility knife
I'm a knife collector and recently found myself getting really intrigued by all of these compact utility knife designs. I recently purchased a titanium one similar to this but at 7 times the price. This has a very similar form factor, is still very light even though it is stainless steel, and even has a bottle opener, which my more expensive one does not. The magnet keeps the blade in place, so there is no chance of accidental deployment in the pocket. An added bonus is that the magnet also keeps the blade from rattling when closed. Oh, and they also include a carabiner with the knife which is great for attaching it to a d-ring on a backpack or sling. Once the blade is dulled down, I can just flip it over, then toss it out and replace it with a a new fully sharpened blade at very little cost. This is a well built knife worth every penny.

6 month review: Yes, it is safe to carry in your pocket -- see video for demonstration
I'm into pocket knives. This is by far the smallest and lightest keychain utility knife which uses a full-size blade that I've seen. It's easy to deploy the blade, easy to use the blade, and easy to retract the blade. It's also easy on the wallet -- amazingly so, considering the quality of design and of manufacturing. My only concern in buying this knife was safety. Any knife I carry in my pocket must have near-zero chance of opening in my pocket accidentally. Having carried this knife on my keychain for the past six months, I'm perfectly comfortable with its safety. The knife uses two independent mechanisms to secure the blade: a strong magnet, and a mechanical latch. In the time I've carried it, the blade has never become exposed in my pocket -- not even once. Please see the attached video for more details.

Perfect design
I found everything about this box knife to be perfect! * I always carried a pocket knife, but grew weary of keeping it sharp. With this knife, I merely change blades when needed. It's always sharp. * I was concerned about the blade opening during pocket carry with other items like keys. That has never occurred because this knife has a super strong neodymium magnet that keeps the blade drawn back. * The four notch blade is wonderful. "Irwin" makes these four notch blades with a ridge allowing you to snap off a little section, making the blade last much longer. * Have you ever had a key with a key ring hole so small that you had trouble hanging it on your key ring? No problem with this knife. It has a wonderfully large hole for that. * For such a perfect knife, the price is unusually low! * I don't have much use for the bottle opener. But it is smooth and does not snag on things in my pocket.

Good utility knife
pros- small and light inexpensive bottle opener keychain ring magnet to put on fridge or filing cabinet fairly easy to deploy with one hand (but not without looking) very easy to close with one hand (and without looking) just point the blade upwards when you open the lock and gravity will pull the blade back down to the magnet cons- you have to look at it to open it, in order to see where the stops are at the top of the blade you open it by pushing the blade forward with your thumb, but a blade is smooth and has no grip, I might try a little peice of tape on it fairly secure but not 100% secure, if placed in your pocket or purse IMO there is a small chance the blade could deploy if banged around enough

Perfect keychain blade
Durable. Easy to use. Cheap and practical. Exactly what I wanted. Accepts everything from dewalt carbides to Lenox golds to Stanley carbides to harbor freight blades. I already bought 2 more. I recommend hitting the pivot with a bit of gun/knife oil initially, then you're good to go.

Great tool for my EDC
I wanted a good tool with a sharp blade that could help me with everyday tasks. But I also wanted my purchase to go towards something I could use long term. Here you have it. - I looked at a lot of cheap folding knives and gadgets but there is always a point in which it is gimmicky or becomes un-realistic (ie. Am I planning to actually have something useful day to day, or am I planning for 1 tool I need to last a nuclear fallout and the breakdown of society…un-realistic but if that’s your thing I suggest cargo pants/shorts to hold more needed gear) - Most cheap multi-tools are just that, cheap. And even the best knives wear without proper care. There are a lot of multi-tool “bars” or “key chain metal chunks that have a bottle opener” I don’t know…they just seemed lacking. - I wanted something that I could use easily, safely, and again, realistically. I also didn't want to waste money on something that would wear down or break easily. - This is why this tool is the best bang for your buck. Yes, you can buy a version of this tool which is $60+ that has some nice extra features, great. But here is what I've figured out. This is great for everyday pocket carry, and if you want the extra tools. Buy something like a Gerber dime, attach both of these to a carabiner, and call it your EDC toolkit. - The changeable blades make this tool amazing. The design of the magnet and locking bar makes pulling the blades out a deliberate process. The perfect circumstances would have to fall into place for a blade to come loose. I read an older review and saw that version 2.0 did not have this feature. The magnet and locking bar did not lock together, and the magnet was further up the blade. I have version 3.0 where they have addressed the problem and come up with a nice solution. The bar can only open so far, and the magnet pulls the blade far away from the opening. - Some complain about the bottle opener but honestly, if it didn’t have one, I would have thought this the same as any other Razor tool and not bought it. I hope they expand on this with future versions which I would buy. Ideas: Flat head/Pry bar at the other end. Is there a way to utilize that magnet for add-on tools like…Philips or flat head tools? Maybe use square bends instead of round so it could be properly used as a flat edge or 2 inch measuring tool. Also maybe design a series of blades which function as other tools to solve this. Yes these are also gimmicky, but this is what a lot of people are looking for, realistic options. I don’t need a cheap compass attachment blade on this thing… - I really got off track here but for $10 buy this thing and start using it. It won’t break easily like a lot of cheap tools out there, and with the cheap changeable blades, will always be sharp when you need it. It is cheap but not cheap in itself.

Ingeniously simple and effective tool
Sometimes, "less is more," especially when you want an effective tool that you can easily carry at all times without loading down your pockets, gear bag, or purse with items that are larger and heavier than they need to be. This little knife allows you to always have a razor sharp blade handy for breaking down boxes, opening packages, cutting cable ties, and every other cutting job that requires a sharp blade but not a long one. If there was any problem with this product, it would only be that it disappears in your pocket and you forget it is there. Blades are very easy to change and though this comes with a proprietary blade, you can swap in your favorite brand and type of standard utility knife blade, like maybe Milwaukee or Stanley, and even use specialty blades of that size (like serrated ones.) You never hesitate to use it on a tough job for fear of dulling the blade - just swap it out. The design is just so elegantly simple, there's nothing to break and the whole knife with a blade only weighs maybe 3 or 4 times the weight of a bare blade - that's the beauty of it. SIX of these knives stacked would be about the size and thickness of ONE standard BIC brand cigarette lighter, if you can picture that... great, easy everyday carry. And cheap. I bought several so I could hand them out to my buddies when they admire mine.

Neat little gadget, but overall too big for a keychain
I really like the concept of this, but it's too bulky to keep on my keychain. There are some simple improvements that would make this much better for every day carry as part of my keychain as highlighted in the photos. Pros: - Locking lever feels secure. I would not be worried having this in my pocket all day - Using standard razor blades is nice - The magnetic attachment can be helpful - Has sort of a fun "fidget-factor" with sliding the bladed up and down in conjunction with the magnet. Cons: - It just feels too bulky - Tolerances could be tighter at the front of the blade so that it cannot move back and forth when locked in the closed position - Bottle opener and giant loop on the end are not necessary Design modifications: 1. Remove the bulky loop at the end and replace it with a simple lanyard hold on the body 2. Tighter tolerances where the front of the blade is held in place since the blade can slide back and forth when in the case, dulling the blade and making an annoying sound. 3. Remove teh bulky bottle opener hook at the front. Everything else has a bottle opener, I don't need one here too. That would make the body considerably shorter I would love to see a "mini" version, even if it required cutting a blade in half or buying custom replacement blades. something half as long would be really nice
