If your wedges and irons have lost their spin, this golf club groove sharpener is a lifesaver. It’s easy to use, with a comfortable grip and sharp cutting edges that clean and restore grooves in minutes. I noticed an immediate improvement in backspin and control around the greens after using it. Works perfectly on U & V grooves, and the build quality feels solid—like a professional tool at an affordable price.Perfect for: golfers who want to extend the life of their clubs and get that “new club” spin without spending big money. Highly recommend this must-have golf accessory.

Well made and useful
This did a really good job cleaning the grooves on my irons, much better than a wire brush. I haven’t got to play a round yet to see if backspin is improved but even if it isn’t it’s worth the few dollars as a groove cleaner. It is well made and I expect it will last for awhile. As others have said the cap fits loosely so use caution if storing in your bag it could easily cut your fingers or a hole in your bag pocket.

Sharpener That Delivers – Great for Wedges
I bought this Bulex Golf Club Groove Sharpener specifically for my wedges, since they get heavy use during both practice and regular play. The tool is very sharp—so I use it with care—but it does an excellent job restoring the grooves and improving spin.I don’t plan to use it on any other clubs in my bag, just the wedges. Considering that wedge grooves typically last around 100 rounds, a tool like this is essential for golfers who want to maintain performance without frequently replacing clubs. For the price, it’s a smart, practical investment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to extend the life of their wedges.

Works well once but does not last
The media could not be loaded. This product feels lovely in the hand: compact, weighty and nicely textured. It feels like a high quality bit of kit, but does it work?In short, yes, but only as a once-off. It is not at all hard-wearing. It cleaned and re-defined the grooves on my irons very nicely, but after 12 irons, the business end of the tool had worn down to such an extent that it had become completely useless. The square corners had become completely rounded so that they no longer had any effect on the clubs. Please have a look at my video or photo to see what I mean.I should say that the end result was excellent. My clubs had so much more grip than they did before I used the tool. I was stopping the ball almost dead with my newly cleaned and re-grooved pitching wedge, and longer irons were checking better on the green too. The blades looked beautifully shiny too!But the tool had to go into the bin, because it had nothing left to give. Perhaps it’s best to think about it as disposable. It costs less than 10 USD after all, so perhaps I’m being harsh in even expecting it to last for more than one use. Would I pay a tenner to get my grooves cleaned and re-defined like this? Yes!Final note, IMO it could do with a slightly more ergonomic design, as the palm of my hand was pretty sore by the end from pushing it.Did it do a good job? Yes. Would I buy it again? No, I would look for a different design.

Improves spin not a miracle cure for grooves
It’s known that golf Clubface grooves create spin. New clubs grooves are certainly best, because course dirt is abrasive and over time wears the grooves, decreasing spin. This tool has high hardness, and has some ability to restore grooves, but the effect is limited. As these type tools go, this one is better than many in hardness. What they will do: These type tools excel at cleaning depth of grooves, not restoring the biting edge at the top of the groove where much of the spin bite is created. The tool will also help remove metal shards from rock dings that indent metal into sides of grooves. Also be aware cleaning groove depth is often to bare metal including removing factory paint which alters your club appearance, though will not affect playability.
