Bought this for my in-home hair coloring ritual in hopes that I can save my towels from death by discoloration. However the first and only time I used the cape I spent more time adjusting it just to get it out of the way than working on my hair. The thing kept getting in the way no matter how I wrapped and moved it away. If it had a cutout for the arms it would be easier to use. May work well for hairdressers but it is lousy for DIY hair colorists. I still have it somewhere tucked away and I don’t want to use it again unless I work on hair that isn’t mine.

The cape seems to be good quality, BUT the neck portion of the cape is too small for an adult-sized neck! Except for the very last snap, all of the snap options are so small that they will only fit the circumference of my lower arm and wrist! I bought this cape for my neck, not my arm or wrist. I’m not an extremely large person, so a standard-sized cape should fit properly with a few options to adjust up or down in size. At this size, it’s only suitable for a child or an extremely skinny person.

This was used initially for quarantine haircuts for me and my husband - I did both cuts - and this was terrific! Doesn’t hold onto the hair like a towel and after I was done, I brushed it off and it was totally clean. Then I used it when I colored my hair and it handled any drips like a professional cape. Threw it in the washer and it came out great! Barely wrinkled and looked like new...for the price I paid I had a fear it was going to come out looking kind of worn out, but what a nice surprise. Glad I read all the positive reviews before I bought it, they were right, great purchase!!

I gave this a 4 star review because although it is a great quality cape, my son complained about being hot while I was cutting his hair. It was definitely easy to use, kept the hair off of him, and washed nicely in my washing machine. I line dried it and it air dried rather quickly as well. Going to have to figure out how to deal with comfort.

Very nice cape, I purchased 3 of them at once and coming back for more. They feel nice and heavy on the shoulders and really nice material and a super cool thing is that it has 2 openings in the front so the clients can use their hands freely while wearing the cape. Absolutely great for the price hands down.

I just don’t use it for my make up, it’s useful for my to make up, for my hair and my husband’s. I thought it would be shorter but I’m glad it is not, for me it’s the perfect size.The material is very comfortable and easy to clean after use it, a plus for me is it has the buttons so I can adjust as I need for my neck

I got this unit over the snap feature because i'm using this on a child and didn't know if the snaps would be the right size. This way, I don't have to worry. It adjust to whatever size I need.

The cape is not bad, but nothing like the photo. Kind of cheap. One layer of plastic. Looks like mass supply and I thought I was getting some really nice capes. They are from China. Really surprised because they are good sewers, but they never reached a seamstress. They were mass produced. Really disappointed, but they are ok to keep. Just really thought I did well getting these until now.
