NOT JUST A PATCHFreestyle Libre 2 & Lingo CGM Sensor Adhesive Over Patches (20 Pack) Beige

The first time I wore my CGM it was supposed to last for 14 days. It made it to 7 before the glue gave up and it popped off when it caught on my shirt sleeve. After that, I started using large medical adhesive bandages, but the adhesives caused irritation and were very difficult to remove without pain.These not only protect my CGM from having the adhesive wear off too quickly but also give me peace of mind. I'm not fully comfortable with my CGM since I have a mild needle phobia and worry about it getting scraped off and hurting me. These patches help to protect the edges so that I no longer have a sudden sense of panic when my CGM catches on the edge of a door frame or my clothes.My advice in wearing them is that you might want to shave the area before applying your CGM and the patch so that you don't have to deal with it pulling on hair when it needs to be removed.

This is my preferred daily cover for my Libre Freestyle because it is not hard on my skin when I remove it. The adhesion is perfect for daily showering but it only lasts about 4 days for me and the edges start to lift. I do not feel it is great for extended water activities - I use a different brand that has much better adhesion but is also kind of hard on my skin. So if you are looking for something that will keep your sensor in place (I like to knock into doorways apparently) but not remove a layer of skin, this patch is a great option.

These are great for an active person that wears a Dexcom CGM. Since using these, I have not had any problems with knocking them off. I have reordered several times.

These have saved me a lot of annoyances - seemed I always lost a sensor or two each summer working outside. These patches keep things secure, even in the heat.Only drawback I found was that the adhesive leaves residue that can be difficult to scrub off. That's a problem if you need to change covers before the sensor is finished as you can't scrub aggressively around the sensor without the danger of losing the sensor.

Patch holds good until you seat excessively, or go swimming for long periods of time. If it starts to peel away around edges I just add clear tape on itEasy to put over diabetic sensors. Last for 7 days most of the time.

Unlike the item description, the center of the patch is sticky and will attach to the sensor. The center is also water proof and will not let the sensor breath which is necessary according to Lingo

These Not Just a Patch patches work pretty well. But the packaging says the center won't stick to the sensor; not true! Just removed a patch because I needed to replace it but I could not get it off the sensor. Ended up pulling out a sensor that had 8 days left to go. When you remove the backing you can clearly see the adhesive is on the center, just the same as it is on the outer part.

A friend let me try a couple of these and I was hooked. Best product for my Libre sensors. Don't even know they are there and it keeps me from ripping out my sensors which I have done with my purse or bra.
