are these pistol or rifle bore brushes

I would say pistol because of the shorter length. They can be used for Rifle but if your going to use them for .223 or 5.56 i would find the longer rifle .22 rifle brushes instead.

I recieved these brushes and they "are not" 8/32 thread! They are 5/40 and do not fit any of my rods,,is there an adapter for this?? I would need one that has a female 5/40 thread to a male 8/32 thread.. thank you
