Surecrete XS-327 Concrete Countertop Sealer Matte Finish Food Safe Water Based (100 ft²) 1 Quart

This is a great quality sealer. It was pretty easy to apply to my counter top. Just make sure to read and follow the directions exactly otherwise it might not set up correctly. After doing some research, I found that Surecrete makes the highest quality and most durable sealer on the market. It really is a good deal and a much better product than anything you would find at a big box store.

I applied this sealer several months ago and has held up great. The sealer is a little bit tricky to apply so I highly recommend watching instructional videos of proper application. It has the perfect sheen to it that we were wanting so we did choose the matte finish instead of gloss. We have had several spills and use our counters daily and have had zero issues with staining if you are looking for great protection for your concrete counters while keeping a natural look then this is the perfect product.

It requires adhering to a process but it wasn’t difficult to complete the application. You mix the two ingredients, wait 10. Mix with water and apply. The product came with a QR code to a detailed application video. I was able to put the pre coat and two additional coats on a 10’x 3’ concrete countertop and on adjacent pre cast concrete caps and used about half of the material. The only difficulty is trying to figure out how much to make/mix since it has a short working time. Create a well protected surface. The cast in place looks no different than pre application. The pre cast has a slightly darker look now.

I never write reviews. I've had concrete countertops since 2018 in my kitchen and have struggled to find a sealer that actually works. Follow the instructions & watch the video. 1 month later and I'm super happy. Finally no more stains. I purchased the matte.

After a bad coat (due to unknown issue), I was able to salvage the final product and it turned out nice.

FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FROM THE SURECRETE WEBSITE & YOU WILL HAVE NO ISSUES! Did a ton of research on sealers for my concrete countertop with crushed sea glass. I knew I didn’t want an epoxy coat as I wanted to still have a natural concrete look/touch and this turned out perfect. The color of the concrete does deepen with the matte version that I used and mine looks the same as if I just wiped it with a wet sponge. I did not color the concrete so it cured a real light gray This was for a Mudroom cabinet top and now I feeling ready to take on the whole kitchen which of course will be sealed with the XS-327 Matte.

It did NOT dry even and smooth, looked like it wait painted on very ugly. had to spend Hours removing.
