Great bit of kit
Having read a few negative reviews about 'slop' I was fully prepared to be disappointed with this jack and ready to do some modifications. Opened it up and was pleasantly surprised, no slop, no wobble, no play - It is solidly built and does exactly as you'd want it to. Just wish I'd taken the plunge ages ago. My router table is now complete and works like a dream.

Solid and works well
I use the lift to raise and lower macro specimens I want to photograph. Its simpler than raising and lowering my camera. Good addition to my macro kit.

Laboratory stand (adjustable)
This is the second stand I have purchased. It is well made and good quality. Very easy and smooth to operate. Adjustable height is good. Would recommend this item.

Small but smooth
Used in Macro photography to raise an item to be closer to the camera Len’s for fine focussing. It’s quite a small unit but for the price is well constructed. No sharp edges and a smooth mechanism. If anything it could do with a larger knob that would give smaller changes to height. Seems sturdy but I’ve not placed any heavy loads on it as yet. I’m happy that it’s doing the job intended.
