After losing a bracelet that was very sentimental to me, I decided to get two of these so that would not happen again - one for a necklace & one for a bracelet. I got the 1" and they fit both pieces of my jewelry perfectly. I feel much more secure since this is a back up to the existing clasps if they were to open. The small size of the double ended clasps and the chain was also perfect. I'm happy I got them.

Great fits perfectly

I ordered a safety chain for the comfort and ease of mind from not losing a bracelet. Just an added precaution.

I am using this as a safety chain for a necklace. (In the photograph, I have disconnected one end so that you can see it better.) I use this safety chain on gold necklaces and bracelets and it blends right in - it has the same colour and shine as solid 14k gold. It makes the piece you're wearing look extra expensive, as why else would you have a safety chain on it? It can be a bit tricky fitting the clasp into small holes on some pieces of jewelry, but it always manages to fit somehow. Very glad I bought this.

It's too thin but is good quality

A good price for a great product. The chain can easily be attached and removed to use on another bracelet. The chain and the catches are unobtrusive. Buy a length long enough to be able to put on and remove the bracelet without removing the chain for maximum ease and utility.
