Recommend it
Tried this out for the first time for a nine hour flight last week - it's a neck pillow. So it's never going to be anywhere like a normal sleep, unlike the ads like to make you believe. But for a neck pillow it's definitely the least bad I have ever tried. I like the way it sits like a scarf, it's light and easier to attach to a backpack then a traditional neck pillow, and it does provide lots more support than a normal neck pillow. Before the trip, I tried it on just for watching TV at home and actually thought it was so comfy I kept it on for a while to doze a little. It looks a bit more stylish than a neck pillow too. I recommend it, though I think it's still very expensive for what is essentially a scarf and a piece of plastic.

Bought two - my husband was a big fan
I bought two Trtl Travel Pillows for a recent long air trip—one for me and one for my husband. While mine was fine, I didn’t find it as supportive as I expected, but my husband thought it was excellent! The soft, plush material is definitely comfortable, and the shoulder support helps keep your neck in a good position. For me, it took a bit of getting used to, but my husband found it super cozy and actually fell asleep easily with it. The design is unique and compact, making it easy to pack, and the pillow stays in place around your neck, which is a big plus for long flights. If you’re someone who likes more neck support and comfort, this might be perfect for you. My husband is a big fan and says it’s the best travel pillow he’s ever used!

Compact and comfortable
This neck pillow is soft and supportive perfect for long flights or car rides. It keeps my neck relaxed, doesn’t flatten, and the cover is soft and breathable. Compact and easy to pack, it’s a must-have for anyone who wants to travel comfortably.

Not awful, but...
I really wanted to love this. It is not a bad product and I think there is a lot of personal preference. But I just don't find it particularly comfortable. And it is more fiddly than most designs to get in the right position. It is as bulky if not more so than other more normal designed pillows which I was surprised at. I used it a couple of times of long distance flights and then just stopped. No discomfort or anything especially bad. It just was not worth the hassle. Would not buy this design again, and given the price I was disappointed.

Don't let the Dragons in the Den put you off.... its good!
Well I saw this on Dragons Den and felt the Dragons were a bit harsh on it. Suffice to say it is a prime example of people using their own planes, business or first class who have noooooo idea what sleeping in Economy feels like. So whats it like in the real world? Well for me (and all those travelling with me that tried it) we loved it. It is not going to replace a business class seat but it is as comfortable if not more comfortable than a bulkhead near the window. Yes you look 'different' for wearing it but on a plane do you really ever care that much? The support it gives you is just enough not to cause a crick in the neck and the ability to cover your mouth is actually quite nice sometimes. Yes you might dribble into it but which is better... dribble into this or down your top or on someones shoulder (I would like to state for the record that I am not a dribbler thankfully so won't ever know!). £20 is maybe a fiver too much for what it is but to be honest if you are doing a trip to China like I was you really won't care if you can get some shut eye. Likewise I then had a 5hr drive afterwards and it was a blessing as much there as it was on the plane(s). All in all a great idea that I will keep safely and take on any 2hr+ journey (if not for me, then for others).

Do not buy
It is rubbish. I am so angry I fell for hype around this product. It was a birthday present - bought in Oct - in prep for a long haul flight at Christmas so the window to return it has closed. It is not worth the money, it is not comfy to use and the cheaper £20 neck pillows are far better.

If you want to sleep on a plane BUY THIS!!!!
As a frequent traveller, I have always struggled to find the perfect travel pillow that provides support and comfort during long-haul flights. However, The Trtl Travel Pillow has revolutionized my in-flight sleeping experience. Its innovative design and unique features have made it my go-to travel companion, significantly changing how I rest on planes. The Trtl Travel Pillow stands out from traditional U-shaped neck pillows with its thoughtful design. Instead of relying on bulky foam or inflatable cushions, the Trtl features a soft, fleece-wrapped, reinforced rib structure that supports the head and neck. This design provides a comfortable resting place without the bulkiness of traditional pillows, making it both compact and lightweight. The key to the Trtl Travel Pillow's success lies in its ability to provide excellent neck support. The internal structure conforms to the neck's natural curve and provides stability, preventing the head from nodding forward during sleep. The fleece covering adds a layer of comfort, eliminating the irritation and warmth of traditional neck pillows. One of the Trtl pillow's most notable features is its adjustability. The reinforced ribs can be easily positioned to the desired height and angle, allowing users to customize the support level based on their preferences. This adaptability makes the Trtl suitable for various body types and sleeping positions, a significant advantage over one-size-fits-all alternatives. Unlike traditional travel pillows that can be cumbersome, the Trtl Travel Pillow is incredibly portable. Its lightweight design and the ability to roll it up into a compact bundle make it easy to pack in carry-on luggage or attach to the outside of a backpack. The included travel bag keeps it clean and ready for use whenever needed. Having used the Trtl Travel Pillow on several long-haul flights, I can attest to its effectiveness in promoting restful sleep. The neck support helps prevent the dreaded "head bob" often accompanying in-flight napping, allowing for a more comfortable and uninterrupted rest. This has been a game-changer for me, especially on overnight flights. The Trtl Travel Pillow has genuinely changed the game regarding in-flight comfort. Its innovative design, customizable support, portability, and durability make it a top choice for travellers seeking a reliable solution for restful sleep on planes. While it may have a slightly higher price point than traditional travel pillows, the Trtl's benefits far outweigh the cost, making it a worthwhile investment for any avid traveller.

Doesn’t work with headphones
Comfortable enough but doesn’t stop your head from falling forward when sleeping on the plane. Also cannot use with over ear headphones. The plastic sits too high pushing the headphones away from your ears. Stickers with the traditional neck pillows to avoid a stiff neck. Made well and durable quality is good. But still not worth the price tag
